Will this be the last redrawn version of Ziro? I hope to god... So yeah- I tried to copy that random style I used for Ebal. Didn't quite work out, so I played around with new colors to get something I like. Love to hear your thoughts.

First drawing of Ziro.

Still looking for different art schools to try out. That and more inspiring artists, lol.

I've been getting this a lot for some reason. It doesn't happen anywhere else.
She kinda looks overweight...that's probably because we can't see her neck, and the way the cloak is curved it seems like she has a really REALLY fat neck. Additionally, the rather pronounced cheek puff also makes her look a tad bit chubby, too. It's placement is rather low on the cheekbone, and raising it to be only slightly under the eye will probably fix that.

Okay, let's be serious. I edited her cheek, and messed with the cape/neck a little bit.

The facial structure definitely looks a lot better here!

I think it's just that this angle doesn't do her justice, and that we can't see very much else beyond her shoulders. This IS a pretty good improvement though :D
Thanks for helping out.
Yeah, I also need to find a way to draw more characters that look straight at the viewer.
Almost like in RL, I feel uneasy with that sort of thing :P
Well, it depends on whether you intend them to. Also i thin that this gives a portrait feel, not a candid feel, if you know what i mean. Like she was posed for a painter. I like the full-body one you did earlier and the title ones.

I love the full body one. The fail, however, irked me for the longest time.
I probably won't focus on full bodies until I start drawing major cutscenes or flavor drawings.

I have a lot planned.
Why not use cropped versions of some of the existing fulls for menu portraits, especially since you like them a lot? The best thing to say about this portrait is that if she looks this way enemies would be caught by surprise- she doesn't look like a dangerous mistress of sacred and profane magic.
