CloseVery nice lighting you've done here. There's a few things going on that I don't understand, though - mainly to do with the wall that has the clocks on the floor and ropes that lead to... a stage? What's behind the dude on the throne?

The ropes lower the curtains, and the clocks will be moved to the fireplace- if not removed completely.
You'll see those ropes in other buildings with windows like that.

Well I guess you could say the magic flame takes its toll on the plant, but doesn't burn the entire thing because magic is- sexy...meh.
If it's too silly, I'll fix it.

I don't think it's silly, it looks awesome. (I don't see much magic flame around the house so it's new/different to look at, which isn't a bad thing)

I'm again surprised that the magic crystals don't shed more light, though I suppose They're not really being used for illumination anyway.

If they needed to use the crystals for light, they would cast a fire spell on it.
That would make the crystal glow for a few hours.
An NPC in one of my houses will tell you this. It may or may not be used in a dungeon ^O^
