The game has several factions with which Draon can cooperate with, or destroy.
1. The Dragon Shelter
Mostly a mixture of soldiers, nurses, cooks and anyone who could have survived the destruction. It is protected by Captain Loros and his squad of soldiers, but several civilians also help in the defence. Their headquarters are based in the Dragon Inn.
Their soldiers are well trained, but they lack the high amounts of morale some of the other factions have.
2. The Goods Store
The other survivors in the Trade District which did not want to join the Dragon Shelter. Their leader is Talia, a white witch, which owned the shop and sold ingredients there. Their headquarters are in the converted Goods Store.
They have large amounts of morale, but are weakly protected and lack training.
They are characterized by wearing green and white robes, and they follow their own branch of learning : Unity.
3. The Sanctum
The survivors of the Rich Part. They are well defended, due to the fact of the large amounts of soldiers that protected the elite of the city before the attack.
Their leader is General Thrand, a veteran of the wars, who tried to assault the palace and restore order, but his attack failed, and resulted with his army being split apart when the doom-spawn destroyed the bridge. Their headquarters are in the only standing house in the Rich Part.
4. The Mages
Ever since the first uses of magic, the will-users divided themselves into clans. Each of the clans focuses on one school of magic. Since the founding of Bleak Point, the clans have moved into the city, claiming the once-forgotten elven Anxiil ruins, transforming it into the Mage Quarters as it is known today. But yet, jealousy and contempt exist, and the clan members treat the other with suspicion and mistrust. The four surviving clans are :
Ruandil, where the school of Destruction is taught. This is the most mistrusted of the clans due to their reckless use of magic.
Androsi, where the school of Aliteration is taught. This is the clan most liked by the outside world, due to their healing abilities that help the general public.
Exrasi, the users of Transmigration. They possess the ability to shapeshift. Most secluded of the clans, they are anything but trusted.
Geransixl, the wielders of Demonology. Use of their powers are prohibited, however. They have resorted to hide under the Mage Quarters, but with the recent attack, they have risen to fight for their place in the new world.
