When was the last time I played an RPG where a level up meant that you could assign stats? Oh, wait, that occurred as recently as Dragon Age - Origins. But before that? Well, I can think of one other. Maybe my memory is just plain faulty?
I recommend a preferred Stat list for every character--so you don't screw some players off a really hard boss 30 hours in. Also, careful not to make one stat OP. There are games where I stack STR, and one shot everything.

It's actually pretty difficult to raise your stats until later on since leveling up barely raises anything aside from VP/MP, so this will kind of be the only way to really up your stats other than equipment. :3 (I suppose a stat list for the characters wouldn't hurt, though I'd want everyone to not be restricted by it~ ^o^)
author=XRazorBlackX Lookin' awesome, got a question though, do the skills about to be learned change if you focus on different stats?
Not really, lol on that matter you won't receive very many skills in general aside from the Vorce Tomes you can find. (I think there will be around 30-35 of those all scattered across the game which teach a spell when equipped. Everyone can equip those just fyi..)
