Did somebody say "crafting"? Whenever I hear the word "crafting", all I can see is an excuse to have a huge database of do-nothing items that sometimes combine to make decent stuff. In my experience, I've generally found that it's usually not worth the effort to collect the components to make anything worthwhile.

Which is one reason why I'm deciding whether to implement crafting or not..lol the other reason is that it'll take up alot of time putting together all of the crafting items! (I want to move along at a good pace, and get chapter 1 done with already..then I can decide whether or not to do this.)

I feel the same way, unless crafting is very easy and not alien.
I love crafting in games. My personal view is from a player and not a game maker so I dont have the same stress as you guys. But I believe all of you have played Blackmoon Prophecy? That took UPCR a bit of tweaking and time but added a nice strategic element and customization level to the game. Still its just awesome you can sell the minerals for some cash.
