Old School

I have decided to use the black and white graphics for a new game. So if you liked the original graphics of Dark Age be sure to check it out Here.

My latest project will be taking priority first for now, but only because I am struggling with creating monster graphics. I should be done with my new project by December, so expect new stuff by then.

This reminds me of all the games I played on C64 as a kid, looks pretty cool.
Two questions:

1. Does your character graphic move, like legs moving up and down a pixel to express movement, or is it a single frame throughout the game?

2. It's hard to tell from the screenshots, but while in-game, the contrast between black and white isn't too sharp to the point of being irritating to the eyes, right? I could see myself getting into this game, but I'm afraid that it might start to give me headaches.
@Corfaisus
1: Its just 1 frame, nothing in the game is animated, but might animate water and lava.
2: Only the water in the game is, but beside that not really.
Looks like the very first ultima game...

The black and white is killing my eyes. Maybe you could try mixing in some grey or something?
please do not listen to this disgusting human, blacks for the black god, whites for the white throne, PURITY ONLY.
This game looks really cool. I have no idea why. I'm gonna look forward to when its done.

Sweet! A demo! I am checking this out right now.
The demo ends at the cave. I know very short demo, but I didn't want to show off more than I had to.

Badass!Nice game indeed!I really wanna try it!
mo purdy than ever before
looks like a lot f work went into this, look very interesting!
No more pics until I finish making the NPC sprites, unless you guys want to see ghost towns and castles. I'm constantly procrastinating too, so don't expect the sprites to be done for a while.
I just got through testing the black and white demo, and it took me back to a time before the NES. Too bad you weren't able to make it work and do sort of two versions of this, but at least you are maintaining the nice retro look even in color.
Thanks for the support and I haven't forgotten about everyone who loved the original graphics/style of the game that's why I'm working on something for all the fans who loved the old style. It may be in this game or a new game of its own either way I think you guys will like it. I will be releasing more info on it in my next blog post.
