Reniat returns to her home village after years away at boarding school to find that the village is nearly deserted. The mine that the village depended on heavily for boosting its economy and tourism has been overrun by monsters and no one has bothered doing anything about it. Having trained as an adventurer, she decides to see what she can do about reviving the town and making a name for herself in the world.

Homework Salesman is a life simulation game with an emphasis on dungeon exploration, completing quests, crafting new equipment and items, and befriending the people in town. The game takes inspiration from the Rune Factory and Atelier series.

Features
  • Befriend each villager by talking to them every day and giving them gifts. Higher friendship levels allow you to learn each NPC's personal story and can also gain you access to new shop items, skills, hidden goodies, and more.

  • Unique items means that each item in the game is treated as a separate object. You can rename equipment, find rare versions of them, upgrade and repair them (weapons have durability), and even enchant them. You can have several iron swords each with different enchantments on them.

  • Six unique crafts: Cooking, Smithing, Tailoring, Enchanting, Alchemy, and Construction.

  • Quests are divided into two categories: story quests that propel your adventure forward, and side quests that are procedurally generated.

  • Features a world encounter system where you can find random events in field maps or dungeons, such as traveling merchants or a bandit who'll offer to spare you for money (or you can kill him)

  • Enemy encounters and (most) treasure chests are randomly placed on maps. You typically won't find the same monster encounter in the same dungeon spot every time. Treasure chest contents are randomly drawn from a pool of items appropriate for the zone you're in. You can also find unique weapons with randomized names, stats, and enchantments.

- Fixed bugs related to Liffely's cooking delivery service.
- Fixed bugs related to the 2nd Colorous Cave quest.

So will we be able to work with plastic in the game now? It must be a pretty fascinating material for a medieval style society.

Reniat has a fridge. I don't think you can say this is strictly medieval lol.

Hello!

I've beaten the four bosses plus some extra ones. I've saved Bertram and all. Is that the end of the chapter, main-story-wise?
it matches with the medieval teleporting houses and moehawk dogs.

What was the last scene you saw?
Is there a way to increase the chance or stunning or Frazzling Raimur?

All of my characters are now level 10. I've enchanted Reniat's Steel Sword and Xebec's Iron Great Sword with a level one fire enchantment.

Is there a way to get the recipe for a counter enchantment aside from learning it from a random recipe book?

Thank you in advance.

The most reliable way to deal with frazzle is to have both reniat and ankaba spam it. Make sure one of them is wearing lighter armor than the other so they dont cast it back to back.

And the counter recipe wont do you much good right now because you cant stack them yet.

Lastly, if you feel like your damage is lacking then make sure to get as many upgrade stones on your weapons as possible and get as many boisterous lvl 2 enchants on your armor as you can afford. Also note what kind of weapon ability that you are using because the bow and 1-hand sword have the strongest arts right now.

I believe it Reniat and Bertram going back home. The only important-looking mission that I haven't completed is

defeat Robert.

Keep playing, you're not done yet.
I take it you already beat the boss at the very end of the cave?

when my brother was kidnapped, I hired a maid. guess what happened :P. this world is so magical.

BTW I think, cooking is too much over powered, I can have 20k money in a day. its a fortune.

.
actually Raimur is a demon, so if you want pure damage go for great sword + whatever enhancement you want you can also counter any physical attack with repel.

Trust me bro, 20k a day isnt op. Before the most recent patches there were some enormous exploits where is could make about 2.5 million in 30 mins of gameplay. A lot of serious money exploits were already patched out of the game. Enchanting is still some of the better money in the game but it used to be gold city pre-patch.

If you are wondering what to do with your 20k+ per day then consider adding 3-4 slots on everyone's gear. Your 20k a day wont feel quite so overpowered anymore. Enchanting is kind of the rich man's skill right now because of level of power you can achieve if you level it up properly.

Didnt test repel out a whole bunch but the only issue I have with it is that the latter boss prefer to use AOE magic and stunning them is just about the only way to keep you party from getting annihilated.
it isnt the spells ramiur uses that I'm having trouble with. Its the physical attacks and counters. I probably need to spend some time enchanting my armor. However, I don't have many level 2 enchantments.

I'm open to battle strategy suggestions.

yeah you right, buy the ingredient from shop right beside the enchanting save a lot of time, at the same time I current recipe lack any recipe beside lvl 0 and lvl 10, so I can't level up it enough to make it worth the energy.

edit: as I said repel is the way for any physical attack, you wont receive any damage and counter the attack. I did it without any enchantment (level 12)
edit2: great sword have bonus damage against demons adding fire add another damage bonus.

it's physical skill, need G.sword and your father teach you when you are more friendly with him
BTW, what father like (except the gift box), he say he need cloth but I can't gift equipments.
My triple arching shot could hit the bosses for about 1500 per character so other than using the sword dance from the 1-hand skills I dont see anyone topping that damage very easily. With a +10 steel sword ive managed to hit captain colorous for over 3000 (6000 pre-patch) with a sword dance attack. If you just have Eagen and Xebec focus on pure damage and Reniat and Ankaba spam shockbolt then the boss really shouldnt get to move that much at all.

that's not so easy, first the boss is faster than all character even with lightest armor (eagan in level 13 with hide and boots have 29 agility Raimur have 30) except if you enchanted your armor to have higher agility. you can't act before boss.
thunderball does not work all the time, and not everyone have +10 steel sword (I don't even have +1 of any weapon), and sword dance require full TP.
I am really not sure how do you manage to inflict 1500 damage with a bow, except if you upgrade a quiver, witch is a waste of time (quiver can't be repaired)
also boisterity level 2 is not available so you must use a level 1 version (3% does not worth the trouble)

Lol, I can't believe I made my way to the final boss with such an underleveled party.

I'm enjoying it this way though, every boss battle has kept me on the edge of my seat so far.

The good thing about this game is that party level dose not matter that much, sure it increase your survivability and give you very small stat boost. But in the end, only your strategy make a real difference :)
I just found a huge bug that I am fixing right now, a new version should be up tonight to fix this.
Okay new update is live.
