Numina is going to be my debut game. It's already in the works for about two years now and currently I'm reworking many parts of it. It has it's roots within classic JRPGs, mixed together with interactive story-telling, integrating the player as an active role in the game itself (thus breaking the 4rd wall) and incorporating a heavy character-driven, epic storyline with deep insight on the history and mythology of Alterna, a beautiful world overflowed with magic.

The wish of his deathly ill sister Aura lets Shawn and his longstanding friend Raphael start on a last adventure for her: Together they travel to the Temple of the Clouds. Aura wished to see the beauty of the temple for a last time. But at the temple things take a turn for the worse. Aura dies and Shawn believes to hear a strange voice that only talks to him. At the same time a strange woman appears at the temple with the baleful message that Raphael suffers from the same sickness, that already took Auras life. But the strange woman promises that there's hope for a cure, in the city Phaladar.

So Shawn and Raphael start on a journey to find the cure, before it's too late. But soon the journey isn't only about saving Raphaels life. Soon the fate of other people connect with Shawn's and together they start a chain of events that'll change the future of the entire world...

As implied, the game relates heavily on it's characters. The choices you make, or influence Shawn to make, have influence on the characters around you. And they influence their view on Shawn or even on you, as a player. This system is closely linked with the alternative plotlines or actions that'll take you through the story of Numina.

There will be many well known RPG-elements, mixed with a new, exciting spin to contribute to the overall game-feeling - Such as a battle-system, character-progression and many more.

Apart from that Numina will have a fully original composed soundtrack.

There isn't much to show at this point, because Numina is still in production.

With fullspeed towards the full version!

It's been a while since I've done a proper progress report, so I'll make it up with this one.

Progress
I'm very glad to be able to say that Numina is going through a very productive phase. The last days I was busy with a few very complicated scenes that are also very rich in special effects. At the same time I'm working on some scripting that needs to be done for the battle system. But the main focus is clearly on the realization of the story and I can't wait to show you Numina!

Skirmish
There's also going on very much in the music-department. My composer has just finished the first battle theme and the result is simply stunning. Above all it's great to finally being able to test the battle system with some great music xD If you're nice and leave me some comments here I might be willing to put a small preview on YouTube.

Hmm... sounds good and the screenshots look good... but the synopsis you posted is a bit confusing because you seemed to have taken an abrupt jump in para 2...
... or is it just me?

Thanks! Regarding the paragraph: It's just that I don't want to spoil the things that go worse ;)
This makes my eyes stay glued to the screen~ Looks awesome! ^o^

That's the right attitude! But just to clarify: I am male. It's just that sometimes, my bro up there messes up the genders. ;P
Sis, there's really no need to fake your gender just to be more like me - you know your brother accepts you as the petite little girl you are.
Bro loves you, hun, so just stay true to what you are. x3

... You know, I'd post something constructive to the game but it looks like marketing-Dust is still asleep. :<
Well that's interesting :-3
What a visually impressive game! I'll be sure to be follow this!
Looks amazing! Where did you get all those amazing effect? What was very awesome was the way the ruins started to fall apart. It must of been pretty hard to do something like that in a Rpg Maker game.
