Create a Card!
Since I fixed the card system, I've decided to give people a chance to create their own card while I'm creating those found in the game.Here is what the card would look like without edit:
If you wish to have your own card within Online Forces, you need to download the card builder below:
Card Builder
To make this card, I would appreciate it if you center and position everything like this:
Place the name in the appropriate place, the cost of the card (from 1 to 5), than, place the type of creature/character within the status box. Here are the types that you can choose from for your card:
-Angel (Light Blue Frame)
-Puppet (Dark Purple Frame)
-Cute (Yellow Frame)
-Beast (Dark Blue Frame)
-Special (Green Frame)
-Spirit (Red Frame)
For the skills, place a dash in front of them. YOU MUST HAVE TWO SKILLS ON THE CARD! Position them almost touching the edge of the appropriate box. Here are the qualifications for Rank, and the list of available skills depending on the Rank:
Rarity:
-Common (Health: 1-10)(Attack: 1-3)
-Uncommon (Health: 11-25)(Attack: 4-7)
-Rare (Health: 26-40)(Attack: 8-10)
-Legend (Health: 41-50)(Attack: 11-15)
Skills You Can Use:
-Common (Heal, Fire, Ice, Thunder, Earth, Wind, Bash, Wiggle, Bite, Slash)
-Uncommon (Flash, Doom, Boost, Mask, Revive, Stop)
-Rare (Heal II, Fire II, Thunder II, Earth II, Wind II, Light, Fiend, Hammer)
-Legend (Dark Passion, Heaven's Rain, Revive II, Inferno, Blizzard, Storm, Quake, Tornado)

CloseI was having layering trouble in the PSD--certain labels were remaining transparent.- but i thin I've solved the problem.

It's all the same font
I do not have the Occidental font on my hard drive! Let's get it!
*Edit: Images updated! I suppose some more playing around with the font (like making it smaller, and bold) could yield something closer to the example, but I'm going to call things "close enough" for the moment.

I do get a sense of mischief from your av, BT- is that what you were trying to convey? I seem to remember now that Marrend's is one of the characters from either one of the games he created or one he likes. Anyway, we each have our own personal reasons for the av we pick.

You'd think I'd know by now that av gender isn't a good indicator of poster gender, but when I'm fuzzy on who someone is I often seem to make that assumption. Now I'd better go and look at some of the other profiles around here.. *ROFL*

*Edit* Trebuchet MS Bold looks quite similar- Freehand even more so.
They don't look similar to the example's font at all! At least, not to my eye, anyway.
Side note: I wonder if we can't take a page from Magic Set Editor, somehow?

MArrend, if you pick up the PSD instead of the images it automaticlaly uses the original font. Also depeding on how may cards I'd be willing to redo the boxes for you . :P
Ah, I see. I 'd thought it was possible to simply re-type the word in that spot. So yeah, it would be realy useful to know. In the meantime I've been attempting to cook up some templates for each card color with only the rank removed, and working on a "foil type" background.
*Edit* Trebuchet MS Bold looks quite similar- Freehand even more so.

I have the PSD, and it did not come with what I was looking for. I think we're talking about two different things, actually. Using the example in the blog as an example (Whaaaaat!?) I'm talking about the font used for card name ("Angelic Overseer"), the cost ("4"), the card type ("Angel"), and skills ("Heaven's Rain" and "Holy Might"). It's all the same font, so finding out what it is would allow future card creations in this thread to have constancy.
