I've been absent for the past year, working on a new project called Castle Greyrot. Imagine Shattered Hourglass bosses, dialogues, decision-making, and job system but it's set in dark medieval times.

The story is Castle Greyrot is a living being that changes its location every 10 years and corrupts its surroundings wherever it goes. As an experienced Commander, you are summoned to engage in a raid on Castle Greyrot.
With mercenaries on your side, you're about to venture to the Castle and destroy the unknown evil force within. It's that simple.

Shattered Hourglass: Steam Version!



Hello everyone! Finally, after 8 long years, Shattered Hourglass is on Steam! Countless versions, bug fixes, trials and errors... oh also, remaking the game entirely has led me to this point. And we are starting a new adventure on Shattered Hourglass. So, what's the difference between this free version and Steam version?

- Achievements
- Autosaving feature unlike the free version
- Cloud saving, your .rvdata2 save files will be stored
- World Map Feature
- All notes and books now have different graphics, easy to read
- Keyboard support when writing on chest passwords and door passwords
- A new area that you can visit from Player House, also a new home upgrade
- Ability to continue even after getting a specific "Bad Ending", old players know that well
- Future updates will be here from now on, like new quests and graphical changes

My first plan is expanding the player house and making events for it. So, I already started to create a new adventure that starts on your Player House, which will lead you to very huge content. After all, you lovely people always want more content. :')

Shattered Hourglass: Final Version

After a year, my lazy butt finally bringing the full version!
You can finish the game with all endings right now. Now the ending count is 6 (Not counting the early bad endings) With this update Juliet gets a big boost with her attacking power.

Warning! Non-animated battlers version still needs to be uploaded...
Let's get into the patch;

ADDED
• Added Juliet's Home in the first world
• Added new cutscenes
• Added some extra quality of life stuff on the gameplay, like you can interact some unlit torches and lit them. (Kinda experimental stuff that I work on for the future patches)

CHANGES
• Holy Avatar is now 110% to 125 ATK, and 5 turns to 10 turns.
• Some Skill icons are changed
Added 4 True Endings (Bad and Neutral routes) which completes the game
• Juliet now learns Medium (level 20) and High Recovery (level 26) skills as Spellfencer. (new game only)
• Her Recovery skill now replaced with Double Tornado.
• Aura Blade now costs MP and attacks 2 times.
• Radiant Blade now costs MP and attacks 3 times.
• Fatal Stance is now 50 tp (was 75)
• You can continue the game after you finish it.
• Survival tonics now cost 30 and 300 (was 50 and 500)

FIXES

• Fixed that infamous missing Axe in the Lumberjack Camp
• Fixed an issue that Pearl quest can be taken once again.
• So many grammar fixes

Yeah, Shattered Hourglass is complete for now. I'm saying "for now" because there is always a room for improvement into it.

Shattered Hourglass 1.0.0 (Kinda 0.9.9)

It's finally here! At least you can finish the game with your Good path save file (most players did that path). The other endings still need some finishing touches. Believe me, they will be so worth the wait.

So, there are 2 different endings for Good path, depending on if you've recruited Qual or not. I'm not going to spoil but the difference between recruiting or not is... MASSIVE. Upcoming Bad and Neutral endings will be super unique too.
(Don't tell anyone that I'm planning to make 4 different endings for Bad path and 2 different endings for Neutral path. Yup, a total of 8 very unique endings.)

Since I'm so close to finishing Shattered Hourglass endings, I want to focus on the final areas and cutscenes from now on. Expect to get 1 or 2 more patches for Bad and Neutral endings. After that, I'm going to focus on improving the overall experience, new events to the player house and adding new cutscenes to old areas. Also, the quality of life stuff is on the way. Let's say... upcoming versions will be awesome!

I'm sorry that this patch got delayed because of my current job & university status. I'm only one dungeon behind to finally seal the story of Shattered Hourglass. The grand finale is going to be EPIC for every playthrough... ehem!

0.8.1: Squashing Bugs

Ugh... It seems 0.8.0 had so many bugs that can prevent catching high tier fishes. So this is an emergency patch that eliminates that issue! You better head to Sandock after getting Fat Worm Bait. Take care, loving you all! <3

Treephop's mood no longer changing when he wears a different outfit

0.8.0: Fishing System & Many More

Hello there, Time Travellers. It's been a while since my last update! I've been working on a new system that adds a new flavour to my game... Fishing! It took many hours to complete but here it is! It's a huge content patch, has so many useful things in it. New UI, new system, new scripts, new outfit system and tons of items!

FISHING

Yup, you heard it right! You can start fishing today!
Here are the first two NPCs you need to talk to in order to obtain your fishing rod.





After getting your fishing rod you can start fishing everywhere. It's a progressive system, you gain better rods and baits as you play the game. Many fishing NPCs are added to the game. Seaport Town now has Fishing Lodge. Also added 2 new areas for fishing. One in Icdalen and one in Wlandia.



Also, there is a new collectable fishing UI! Whenever you catch a fish it registers this UI.



Be a master fisher and get ultimate rewards, like the new Timeless Weapon.



WARDROBE

After you purchased your house, get your carpets and finally reached to Chronix. You can get back to your home and purchase this new Home Upgrade.
You can change all of your party members outfits with it!




Fishing may change Duran's appearance to default.
So... I'm going take a look at that issue.

0.7.0: End of the Desert Dungeon & Start of Animated Battlers

Before I explain the new patch I want to showcase one of my friend's Let's Play on Shattered Hourglass! He's just started playing it and he's super clueless~

Hello there, Time Travellers! This update fixes some things and at the same time breaks some things (not if you start a new save file).
From now on, if you want to continue your previous save files you'll need to download
THIS VERSION.
Because the Moghunter's Animated Battler script requires a fresh start. I'm sorry! :>

Also, the Egyptian dungeon (still couldn't find a name for it) has completed. You are free to go there with 15 house upgrades. It contains a great knowledge, which is very helpful for Duran. But only if you can outsmart the dungeon.

0.6.7: Making Masteries Great Again

Hello there, Time Travellers! I'm here with another content and balance update. Thanks to fresh feedback I've received I revisited one of my oldest implementations; Masteries/Passives. Thanks to Clangeddin, I've fixed many issues. (I wonder how many I've created in the process...)

ADDED

12 new maps that continue deeper in the new desert stage
1 new key item and 1 accessory (It's G R E A T!)

GENERAL CHANGES

Getting Jobs to level 40 grants a nice major stat boosts now (Example: some classes gains 30 ATK on hitting level 40)
Time Mage, Swift Archer, Astral, Magiserker and Assassin's Base HP raised a LOT

FIXES

Bestiary now shows the correct amount of Enemies (240 Max)
Fixed an issue with the Boat Remote Upgrader's right chair...
You can get Crossbow weapon in Haunted Mansion even if you have Cursed Eagle with you
Hiban's MP now correctly shows when changing his job
Wind Spirit Rush's icon now shows Wind
Zulwhern's Knight skills are now much clear on how many turns they buffs

SKILL CHANGES

Duran's Time Embrace now costs 25 TP (was 75)
Zulwhern's Dodge Mastery + is now 40TP (was 50) and correctly says its buff duration
Duran's Constant Rewind now only uses mana but costs 20% Mana to cast (was 10% Mana and 50% TP)
Zulwhern's Draw now costs 20 TP (was 50)
Poison Cut 4 now hits one target as intended. (was AoE)
Suan's Lazer beam is now 20 TP (was 50)
Jannet's Luck, Agi, Power booster no longer costs TP (was 25tp)

Welp, I was supposed to create another dungeon but some feedback I've received gave me an idea to create a dungeon that nobody asked for... Congrats! We are going to Volcano dungeon once again, but this time everything is different. (totally!)
Good luck beating those new bosses... Heh... Heh... Heh...

Qual's Item Shop now sells Dynamite... I wonder why? (Pretty expensive)
