How!? He's the only boss who heals you before you fight him because that's the kinda sweetheart he is!

Rubicante is one of the easiest bosses I have ever face in a Final Fantasy game... This is the hardest one I ever fought. :p

Is that an offer to draw new ones?

There's no such thing as a hard boss in FF5
has it been that long since I played? I remember it being much harder... O.O

You probably did what the developers expected you to do: Hit him until his HP hits zero. His AI script changes as he loses HP and he whips out more dangerous and party hitting moves. If you never do a lick of HP damage though, well you're free to raise his level until he hits 255 which is vulnerable to L5 Doom!

FF5 has a hilarious amount of crazy exploits.

I'm actually doing FFII now... The story dosn't help you at all on how to advance... Just got the Indian guy with the Canoe after like, 2 hours of gameplay. XD

FF2 you say? (unless you're playing the not-NES version because this bug wasn't included for obvious reasons like being a total rewrite)

heh No. If I could draw high res stuff I wouldn't be stuck making NES games.

You managed to find some high quality monsters and battlers, hopefully you find some good faces too.

Perhaps. Right now, what the face sets look like are on the bottom of the priorities list.
I don't see the problem with the facesets? I'm sure they came with the battlers, same game that is.

I have seen ALOT worse in RM games which is sad, not saying these are bad but they get the job done without being visually harsh.
