Bahamut Summon Test

First draft of a Bahamut summon animation. For the curious, the Victor Engine Animated Battle script allows animations to be in full video, and the video used here is Bahamut's summon from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on PSP. The animation following the video still needs some refining, so expect it to change.
Also, Ellie's sprites aren't done yet, so I had to use Leon in her place for the attack. =P

I like the idea but you should give people the option to have the video or just an animation for the summons cause some might not like the whole one minute long animation thing for just one move

It's cool, for 1-2 times. But I think I liked much more the "old style", when summons appear on screen and do the stuff from it, as NES/SNES did (not because of "the old times", it's because I feel that when done with display, it feels rather vague, the "action" is done on other place, and to our battle only gets the downpour -it separates the battlefield from the summon-).
Anyway, your game gets much more prettier as days pass on. Cheers "Coullie" ahah!

I'll make a request for a script that can cancel battle animations on a per skill basis, and apply them to summons. Scripts like that are a little tricky to make since there's so many scripts that are handling Scene_Battle now. But I'll see what I can do.
This is cool and all, but I have seen that animation in plenty of XP/VX games already, and if you don't want to have an option to switch with an alternate animation, at least make it so that it just doesn't play the video and do some damage animation or something.
Are there any more summons that have really long video-anims like such?
I think no other summons would be as long as Bahamut.
Nonetheless, for such a long animation, it should deal 99999 dm, lol. Still, awesome nonetheless. Awesome, but impractical.
