HUD , pain in the butt :(

Been slacking with rpg maker for a few days/weeks now because of a little problem Iam having , I have been messing with a hud for my game for quite some time and just can't seem to get it just how I want it lol (don't even know how I want it):P

So Iam gonna ask you guys , what is a good HUD in your opinion? Maybe if I get someone else opinion I might come up with something =)

a HUD for what exactly?
My bad lol forgot to mention that :P Iam using XAX battle system for my game so a hud that shows hp/mp etc

Actually, I will need a little more detail. HP, MP, anything else?

Well from what I know, it should be something like this:
(Prepare for Text Hud)

That is what I am assuming the XAS battle system HUD works somehow, and would be easy to do if you can script.

If that didn't help at all, maybe you just need theme ideas? Well, obviously, it would be a futuristic theme, probably a steely-color, with the HP bars being a techno-red or green color that glows, and that the MP bars be a techno-blue color that glows. The XP bar would probably be a gold color. The whole status part should look 'raised' in comparison to the rest of the HUD, preferably with a drop shadow. All text should probably be in a futuristic font.

I know, really bad suggestions.
The feature of the hud is not an issue (atm) its the design itself :P
So far what I have displayed is

Hp
Mp
Xp
Stamina
Stigma
Level
Name
character face
Status
Equiped item icons

And what Iam having issues with is how to place all these stuff without it looking "too much" :P And your ideas is pretty much what Iam going for so I wouldn't call them bad hehe.

Ah, well XAS doesn't have to much space, but you can manage if you 'split' the room for everything in half.

I just realized that you aren't seeing it the way you should.

That, honestly seems very good as is. Maybe not for all that you're going for, but it does look nice~ :)
I'm going to go ahead and agree with Sana, that actually looks pretty swish to me. How come you decided not to use it?
Thanks :P , Iam just picky really, think i'v made 5-6 huds so far and still can't decide what to use.

Just got this from a friend of mine

If I decide to use this one I will have it change color depending on the location you are at so it will "blend" or something like that :P
Call me nuts, but I still prefer your earlier example :D It fits great with the overall theme and mood of the game =)

Same here, lol though it's up to you which one you decide to use in the end, KDS~ :)
Hehe :P will probably end up having an option were the player can choose a hud in game :D

Naw, I love the second one. A choice would be really nice.
Gonna see if I can get some help modifying XAS hud script to get some fancy effects / animations for it to, hopefully :P
Not sure what use has the stamina (CT?), but I would change the CT and MP places. At least I prefer to see the MP closer to the HP.

But, again, I don't know how much/what kind of use has the CT.
