Pokemon Mica
In the Mica Region, people live happily and peacefully with their Pokemon. There isn't a lot of crime, and people are healthy.
Though secretly, an evil organization lurks the region finding clues about a rare event that only takes place every 10,000 years. When the player becomes of age to get his/her first pokemon, he stumbles upon this evil organization, Team Geode, and is forced to join. The grunts take him to their Boss, Pierce, and assigns the player on a mission. To beat the Gym leaders and get their information on the rare event, that will soon happen.
You, the player, play through a new story with a twist to the genre's standard, train on trainers, challenge gym leaders, and try to stop the rival team, Team Cloud, from interfering with the plans. The Mica region includes Pokemon from Gen1-4, and a new set of Pokemon exclusive to the game.
Pokemon Mica is a game being designed to emulate the Pokemon series, but also have a completely new take on features and story, it promises to be unique and fun adventure!

I agree with you, though for me it's after Diamond/Pearl, since I'm quite fond of the 4th gen..though after that..meh :p (The new 6th gen pokemon look pretty nice though, especially the fire starter.)
Lol, don't get me wrong I was happy to see the evolved forms of 1st gen pokemon and new forms from Eevee if I'm correct about Diamond/Pearl, but that was it.
I just want a good story now. This game has already aroused my curiosity.

Not to spoil, but there isn't an elite four, at least one I have planned out yet. I planned on gym leaders, but the game will be "mission based" since you are being forced to work in organized crime.

author=Brady5th generation's probably the worst in terms of poke-quality, though I do like a lot of the 4th gens; Arceus, Dialga, Giratina for example. My favorite gens will always be the 1st-2nd ones since I was really young back then so nostalgia factor, as well as they're just really great in terms of design. Pika! Lmao, excuse me.. anyway, yeah Adon's pokemon look pretty good~ :3

PokeMon "rightfully belong to the people"? Without going into a big ethics debate about whether or not the PokeMon actually deserve to be kept in captivity or not, but the corporation either has the right to possess them or no one does, right? D:

Well, since some people feel like probing my game in and out is needed, here ya' go:(Some aren't really "features" to say, but you can get an idea)
• Since there isn't a berry mixer, and you cannot make pokeblocks, berries have 3 features. The first is their use in battle, when held by pokemon, they will have their designated effect. Their effect when used from the item bag will not be the same as when used in battle, unless you are using a regular old "Berry" item. These will serve to boost up their beauty stats for contests like "Cool", or "Cute", or "Beauty". The 3rd use is when you put them on an "altar"(name still pending) which makes wild pokemon appear based on what contest stats it raises. For example:
Figy Berry:
"If held by a Pokémon, it restores the user's HP in a pinch, but will cause confusion if it hates the taste."
In Battle: Restores HP when they are below 25% HP, and causes confusion IF let's say they like "Smart" flavor, and the Figy berry is "Cool" flavor. Since that pokemon doesn't like the Figy's flavor, they get confused.
Item Bag: Raises the cool stat, lowers the pokemon's happiness if they don't like the flavor.
Altar: Attracts pokemon who's nature makes them like "Cool" tasting berries.
• The inclusion of Gen5 pokemon, probably not animated.

So, come on, we all know this game is faithful and pretty damn sexy, but.. you gotta tell us what features you're putting in to make it different to the originals. :P
