Progress Update + Custom Pokemon

More like, No updates recently? Here's why!
I have been working on graphics, learning more about RMXP, the engine I am using. Plus there have been a few days of no work, but there are things to show!
I have been debating somethings, mostly:
1. Should I animate the Pokemon battlers?
2. Should I use the Gen5 Pokemon?
3. Should I add in custom Pokemon? (Or "Fakemon")
I still haven't decided whether I should animate all of the battlers, but I have decided NOT to use GEN5 Pokemon. Instead, I will be introducing new Pokemon to the Mica Region along with Gen1-4's Pokemon. That is a LOT of pokemon to put in a game! So to prove to you I have been doing something, I present some pokemon to ye'.:
(BEWARE, HORRIBLY COLORED SPRITES AWAIT YE)
Bugamire - The Flame Spider Pokemon.
Bugamire live deep within caves and use the two flames extending from it's back to light up the area around it.
Antofire - The Fire Ant Pokemon.
The evolved form of Bugamire.
Antofire often travel in groups of up to 20 and inhabit the deserts. They ruthlessly burn their prey before attacking with their hind claws.
Wingnal - The Signal Pokemon
Wingnal inhabit the night sky and glow brightly with Volbeat. These pokemon often lead many Volbeat to Illumise.
Poisack - Poison Toad Pokemon
Poisack has many sacs of poison along it's spine which can be used to fill up it's hind claws with poison.
These are some of the pokemon you will encounter in the Mica Region!
Now the problem is of how they are colored compared to a normal pokemon sprite:
I am not really sure how to make it the same type of color! The only sprites here that REALLY don't have this problem are Antofire!
Yep! I am currently finishing adding them all into the game, and I will post a screenshot with them in it later.

CloseThose pokemon are sweet. I think animated will be so much better for the game. As for what pokemon you use, well theres tons. So no big deal to me.
I am starting to reconsider B+W Pokemon and animated pokemon, mostly animated pokemon, but where would I find a game that has Gen1-4 Pokemon animated?
Also, I am not too familiar with gen5, so I don't really want to do something with it.

I'm not too familiar with gen5 pokemon either, so if you use 'em or not doesn't make much of a dif to me aside from more variety. Those custom pokemon are really good btw even if they could use some improvement colorwise~ B3
You ever play Pokemon Twilight? It uses entirely custom pokemon which were pretty cool looking, though they were worsely sprited than yours~ :)
