~MN~ is a visual novel with RPG gameplay elements included, quite reminiscent of Sega’s Sakura Wars/Taisen games.



PLOT

The story is based on an academy for young people possessing a mysterious spiritual energy known as “Xoren”. People who possess Xoren are telepathically connected to another dimension, quite unlike our own, and the students and staff of the academy aim to explore this unknown realm in an attempt to discover the secrets behind their irregular spiritual energy patterns.

Players will assume the role of Hamagashi Saito as he enters the academy as a new student. Throughout his time at the academy, he will build relationships with his classmates and teachers, explore a new world in an unknown dimension, and come face to face with an enemy unlike anything he could ever have imagined before.

Battle system in-depth
Players will collect items as they explore the school and the alternate world to aid them in battles. Battles will be fought solely with the use of these items (keys), as they do not have skills or regular attacks to carry them through. Each key has a limited number of uses, so finding as many of these as you can will be crucial to beating a mission with ease.

Level System in-depth
Gain levels by building relationships. Saito’s fellow students gain a level each time one of their favors have been completed, and level up in a more traditional way when being chosen for a mission in the other world. Using certain female characters in battle will also improve trust between them and Saito, and could form a romance.
