In the very beginning, humans were simple and lived off what little they had. They prayed to the Gods and Goddesses that were given to them by an unknown means in order to have good fortune and luck for the coming year. However, on a night like any other, a child was born under the light of the full moon. He was stronger, faster, braver and more intelligent than his brethren were. The gift he had was later named the Benevolent Trust. Through his mind they all learned, grasped the ability to do so much more than survive, their civilization grew large and prosperous. Over many a years they had developed communities on different continents, technology, and even their own languages to communicate amongst themselves without their enemy spies being able to comprehend. However, the drive for power began and they fought for control. Destruction ravaged land after land, giving way to the ruinous aftereffects.
One King grew greatly tired of their constant war, the endless bickering, and the unquenchable thirst for power. He resolved a solution that pleased all countries and peace flooded most of the land. However, jealousy still lingered for the Blessed Ones, and this hatred spread quickly. People began to question why they could not have the power that was given to others. What did they do to deserve that power? A single, wretched man developed a way to extract the power of the Benevolent Trust, copy it, and implant it into others who had it not. This quickly grew popular among the civilians and a trend began. Although it cost a good amount of money to have themselves implanted, they would do whatever it took to acquire the power they were so wrongly spared. The side effects to this process, however, were treacherous. If the person did not survive the implant, their bodies began to shift into dark forms, demonic entities of repulsive purpose. Thusly was the spawn of Monsters.
When the King found out about this extraction, he sent his spies to look into it. He found out that the people who had their Benevolent Trust extracted rarely survived, and what became of the ones who had their trust stolen if the process went wrong. Angrily, he quickly banned the practice and sent out a warrant of arrest for the man that started all of this. However, this man was never found.

When children are born on the night of a full moon they are sometimes gifted with special abilities. These abilities are known as the Benevolent Trust.

The trust comes in Shards that are usually in the palm of the bearer's hand, or markings along the arms, chest, back, or face. If overused, the 'shards' can kill the user, disable their bodies, explode, and a variety of other possibly fatal effects.

Basically most forms of magic, fire, water, lightning, holy, dark, etc.

Enigma is a form of magic that is rarely obtained. %BadGuy% was one of the ten that were given this ability so far. Their minds are usually corrupted by the immense power of the Enigma and they end up desiring either money, fame, or more power. Ultimately 7 of the 10 ended up killing themselves or being killed, because their thirst could never be sated.

Another Game?

Well, yes and no. I've been working on this game a bit longer than Pokemon Trinity. On and off, of course, as is my nature. But I just decided to go ahead and post it.

I'd love to hear your feedback on the Demo download there, despite how heavily outdated it is. Everything counts, especially in the long run!
