"You descend from the sky...
A bold light in the night...
the hope of the world, encased in plastic...
falling, ever so slowly...
onto the dirt path."
~RED

RED is an ambient exploration game set in the open world of KORLAI. He finds himself, bruised but OK, in the hamlet called LITTLETOWN, where he must explore to find his destiny and change the world forever.

  • Open-world exploration

  • Puzzling dungeons

  • Abstract feel

  • Story-based missions

  • Rich interactivity

The game will be released on 1st January 2013, and it will feature 5 countries with 10 locations each. A main storyline will be accompanied by several side-stories that intertwine with the central one. It will be epic, I swear. Well, OK, let's see.

Looking for TEAM... dungeon design, mechanics, story

Hey guys

I'm making this exploration/fighting game called "RED". It's an everything-game with extremely simple graphics and a lonely aesthetic. Basically, you're supposed to explore around the area, in a world that provokes your interest. It's supposed to have light simple gameplay, but also be fairly engaging. If you're interested in helping, comment here or send me a PM.

I'm looking for:
  • dungeon designers

  • quest designers

  • testers

  • idea-people

Thanks!

I like the game's tittle screen. Red and yellow always go well together; but I was disappointed to see the actual game is pretty much devoid of color. Is this for plot reasons or something? Because if it's not, you should totally get rid of that boring B&W aesthetic... Look at what I shopped in a few seconds. -link- Rather 'modernist' looking, I'd say! And a good match for that tittle screen. =P
I did in fact try that colour scheme alterego, but it was hurtful to the eyes while playing, and made me feel dizzy. I'm still trying to find a tileset that is fitting of the theme but also nice to look at.
