A Little Naughty Humor for You

Actually, one of the first games I played upon joining RMN. It is apparently sequel to Epic Elf, which I could probably find if I took the time, following the life of exiled Dark Elf Dagree.

Story: A somewhat rude and naughty comedy with plenty of sexual innuendo without quite going over the edge. Dagree just wants to be left alone, living in his cave when he senses an adventure coming on. Well, he steps outside and is approached by a fairy begging for his help to deal with a mysterious evil. Plenty of gags to be going around. While one his way to your first village, you meet up with Dagree's old friend, Calvin the mage, who immediately voices his concerns over a mysterious evil and joins your party (after you've scared a young townsman senseless while he's trying to impress a couple of girls). Well written with a few, not obnoxious grammatical errors. Dagree is also haunted by the Dark Knight he defeated in the previous game, who for some reason wants to help him.

Gameplay: Well balanced use of physical attacks and magic and skills. You'll find yourself using the magic and skills quite a bit as you fight your way through the numerous touch encounters. Plenty of puzzles to be going with, plus helping the Grim Reaper deal with a little problem he's having (This little sidequest, by the way, is your best way of getting special items for your characters).

Graphics: Basic RTP, horribly twisted and perverted so that it is a mere echo of itself...what's not to love?

Problems: Nothing noticeable except a lack of save points. Any balance problems you have are easily dealt with by use of a merchant who will help you grind when there are no enemies around.

All together, the game is very well done, with keen eye for humor, but everything is pretty basic. It's worth it for the fact that it's like being drunk without having to drink.
