Patch 1.03 Released.
Daedron- 10/20/2012 02:02 AM
!Warning, if you have a save located at the following locations: Tartarus 2F, 5F or 8F, please make a save in a different location to avoid messy situations!
Patch 1.03 is here as promised. This patch focuses on the removal of certain tedious things present in the current game.
Patch 1.03a is also available now, download it after applying patch 1.03 to fix some smaller issues.
Installation Instructions:
I have uploaded two versions of this patch: 1.00 -> 1.03 and 1.02 -> 1.03
Everyone that just downloaded the game obviously needs 1.00 -> 1.03.
Everyone on 1.02(shutdown option available at title screen) needs to get 1.02 -> 1.03.
Everyone on 1.01 needs to update to 1.02 first, then download the 1.02 -> 1.03 patch.
Might seem like "DERRRPPP" to most of you, but I felt like including it.
I will delete 1.01 now and keep 1.02 up for a little while longer if there's still anyone out there that has 1.01. I will delete Patch 1.02 as well on monday evening. If anyone is still on patch 1.01 after that, you need to re-install to apply the 1.03 patch.
Patch 1.03 notes:
New Features:
-Added Automatic Card User.
All Equipment Cards in your inventory get automatically used when you enter a town or buy Equipment Cards from a store.
-Added Retry option to all boss battles.
Restores full HP/SP and opens the menu to allow the player to set up different skills and equipment. The option to give up and return to title screen is also present, of course.
Dungeons:
Tartarus
-Tartarus 2F, 5F and 8F removed.
-Increased EXP, CP and Drops by 80% in Tartarus.
Bosses:
Chapter 3 End Boss
-Changed "Elemental Shift" mechanic from:
1 elemental weakness, rest immune.
to:
1 elemental weakness, rest 99% resist.
To make it less punishing trying to figure out the pattern on a first run through.
Tutorials:
-Rewrote "Build Up" tutorial and changed to Dim Background.
Minor Changes
-Fixed/changed miscellaneous dialog strings.
-Fixed minor oddities.
-Moved HP/SP text in battle up a few pixels for easier reading.
-Moved down enemies in certain encounters to avoid combat text (damage, state changes etc) from appearing off-screen.
-lolderpvid (hope you're happy)
