In a distant land, only one young man, his friends, and his dog can answer the call of the prophecy of the Bastard King's quest and save the world!
(Note: The world's fate may not actually be riding on this)

This is not a combat-oriented game. There is a final boss, but the gameplay is mostly about exploration, experimentation, and trying not to upset the Bastard King with a wrong decision.

It's also extremely short, so I promise it won't waste too much of your time. (unless you're going for all the different ways you can obtain a Game Over, in which case you'll be here awhile)

WARNING: This game has been reasonably described by my beta-testers (aka ex-friends) as "extra-strength stupid" and should not be played by anyone with a sense of humor that's evolved past that of a grade-schooler.

-----------

This is the first Rpg Maker game I ever made, and in actuality, the only one I've ever completed.
Let me give you little background:

My childhood growing up in the 90s was shaped by the SNES Rpgs. I imagined how awesome it would be to grow up, become a game designer, work for Squaresoft, and make my own games all day. Being an incredible potty-mouth, I also decided my first game would be "The Quest for TP" and be about the hero having to quest across the world to find a roll of toilet paper for his father trapped in the bathroom.

A decade later (and not having matured much), I found myself in possesion of Rpg Maker 2k3. My epic ballad would have to wait until I learned to use it, and so I settled on a less ambitious project as a way of breaking in the system. I cranked this out in the course of a single night (giggling until I couldn't breath the whole while).

Against all odds, it turned out to be pretty fun. Even today, I admire my past-self's ability to create and finish a game that leaves tears of laughter in my eyes. So, another decade (practically) after creating it, I've finally decided to share it with you, the world.

Enjoy.

That was really fun game! It should be long through, but it was just hilarious! Really, i like this type of humour, random! Keep making games, just make them longer and more random.

I had some fun time playing it, judging by the humour, i give 10/10.
This is fun. lol
But seems like there is no save point in this game, I played to the part I accidentally kill the Bastard King, and kill myself. I got the game over and it all goes back to the beginning. T^T

You have to save manually, sorry. Just go to the menu (Esc) and pick save! You can save anywhere.
Oh, I think it'll save automatically. Silly me >_<
