WILL COME BACK AS FULL VERSION

-This is a beta. Please give positive feedback.-

You play as Jacob, the older brother of a dead sibling ,that Jacob states, can hear his/her voices.Jacob wakes up in his own house ,but which is now completely white and black, except for blood and flesh.Jacob, the player, will have to use his wits to scavenge the organs of his dead brother or sister to make the "voices" in his head stop.

(SPOILER)-I will explain in a quick paragraph what happens. You wake up in a strage disturbing world and you find the red key. Then, you go outside,to find the knife to kill the thing in the chest. You give the thing to the mouth on the wall. You go in and click all the paintings in order then solve the pass-code.Chose which organs to give your sibling (Which will change the ending).
There are 6 diffrent ending for the beta.In the full game I will add more with an actual cutscene.

This game's genre is queit strange in it's own matter. The disturbing and creepy sounds will make the player uneasy and creeped out. With the addition of the concepts the player may be a bit "jumpy" for the rest of the day.The player will have to solve puzzles like feeding a blue mouth on the wall a pile of rotting flesh so it can let you in.

Tell me if the story is horrible or cheesy. If you tell me that type of thing,I will be able to fix it and make an awesome story ,or atleast try.If there is a chance to make the story better please tell me.This can become better, it can always get better.Thank you for trying atleast.

Sadly, this is only to see if the concept alone is good enough to spend months working on.I promise this game will be alot better once I figure out if the idea is good. Also,be sure to look around before doing something dangerous in the game. There are hints that can help the player not have to read the detailed disturbing deaths.

Once this is finished, I will change everything on this page. The images, description, download, and title. One more thing,I would like to know if the gane is better looking all nice and fancy or the "Hacked" look looks creepier. That would mean alot.I mean, look at Ao oni.It is just creepy.Anyway, I tried the kinda "Hacked" feel in the game, just to see.

If the project is not even creepy, just stupid, give me feedback. Also, don't be a douche and say that the game sucks with no reason.Just tell me that my mapping needs improvment, the story needs help,or some other things. It can be any one of those things and more.

There are some things I already know.Like, the endings are only in text.I am very sorry for that but like I have been saying, this is a beta. This is not my full potential so don't give me feedback in general.Tell me things that should be included in the game.

I am definitely not alarmed by you needing to specify this.
Weird. From the looks of it, I had to wonder if it would be worth the play, but having tested it out, it's quite interesting. I'll have to see what the final version is like to form any real opinion, though.
Ok, I really don't intend for this to be a completely negative review. But here goes.

When I first looked at this, I thought it might be an interesting story, something a bit different from the norm. However, I was rather disappointed in the gameplay. The idea of finding different body parts is not exactly new to the horror game genre, as seen in the game Misao. But while Misao has a storyline and a reason for finding the body parts, White Walls did not. The fact that you had to tell us what to do in the description speaks volumes about the lack of any discernible reasoning within the game.

I cannot tell you how much the sound needs to be altered. I thought I had blown my headphones when the static started up, and the music throughout adds nothing to the atmosphere. The loop is off, and the music starts and stops randomly, which disrupts the flow of the game.

The landscape and layout are, in a word, bland. I understand that the game is called White Walls, but there is really nothing around. If you wanted to go for a minimalist look, don't put the trees (or whatever they are) in. They have no point, and just keep you from getting around easily.

I quit this pretty early on, as I simply had no idea what to do. In the future, try to make the objective clear, or reasonably clear, at the beginning.

I think this game has a LOT of potential, but there are some definite problems in this beta. If this were to be an end product, I'd give it maybe 1/5.
Honestly, I'm not sure how to score this game. Perhabs it's too differently to be put it in any specific genre. What's more strange is, that I'm not sure if the strange graphics are good or bad. I don't now what these "black things" in many rooms wants to be. Are these holes? Black figures? Are the displaced lines on the wall intentional? Maybe it's good that I don't know it, because there are so much strange elements in this game, so the graphics could fit in the worldbuilding (did you mean that with the word"hacked"?). So I think this is one strength of "White Walls": Potential for bizarre processes and events.

Anyway, there are obvious specific problems with this game, some of them are mistakes often done by beginners. Sometimes spelling errors. For example, in the first cabinet there is written "cabnient". Or the mouth in the same room ("thethroat"). "Diffrent" if you interact with the gun. But these are just small mistakes.

Here are bigger problems:

1) Title-"Music": The static noise is annoying. It hurts the ears and doesn't even fit in the ambient of the game.

2) Music in general: So far, the music is okay. But frequently the music "pauses" and then starts again. The missing transition, this silence, pulls the player out of the atmosphere.

3) Choices: If you press ESC in a dialogue (which is 'cancel') the second option will be chosen. This is the default setting in the RPG Maker. Please change it to the point of option where you can really cancel the dialogue.

4) Teleport-Events: The setting of teleports are very mixed, and this isn't good. Either the teleports are set on "Same Layer As Hero" or "Below Hero". Or the teleports are in a door or in front of a door (this gave me problems when I wanted to run from one mouth to another one). There should be one style of teleports. Placed in doors, set on "Same Layer As Hero" would fit the most.

5) Smaller "Things":
- There are "holes" (?) in the wall, left from the starting point, where you can walk over. This shouldn't be.
- The "drip drip" was unintentional funny. Maybe, just cut it out. I'm not sure. Maybe this was your intention.
- Only the HP, MP and the numbers show where the savestate is. Could be more obvious.
- The outlines of the walls are melting with the rest of the black. It looks like a graphical glitch.
- Maybe it's just me, but the place where you pick up the foot and can't cross this point, because the character won't walk over it, even there is nothing, appeals to me more like you don't know how to chance the height of the event (Lower, Same ore Above Hero). It feels weird, in a cheap way.
- you can walk over the television

About the gameplay: There isn't much, just walking around, interact with several objects and most time you don't know if it would trigger something, because this world seems a little bit random. There is not much to "play" (in terms of gameplay), with exception of this single number-riddle. More "doing stuff" to reach a goal would be nice.

I like that you can reach multible endings and you don't really know whats going on here. I feel lost and in this case it's good! The general ambience supports this feeling well (but could do it even better). As I said, the potential for bizarre events (and the already included events) is the most interesting aspect. And I don't know why, but for some reasons the mapping (with all it's mistakes) fits to the world (I never said that to any game)! I'm curious what you will make out of it.
