My dear followers!

Clearain_Christopher got the chance to check out my game.

Though you see some of the flaws (most of them due to the fact that the ABS is still in Beta mode) you will get a very good impression of how the battles in the final version will feel like.

I also submitted this as media. This game screams potential. :)
(long video due to 1/2 of it being combat experimentations.)
This looks really awesome. I didn't really like the KH: Chain of Memory battle system (I remember just button-mashing my way through it like in every other KH game), but this still looks interesting. At least you don't have that ridiculous card duel mechanic.

Ooh, and the level up system is like the sphere grid? I loved the sphere grid in FFX! :D

The random skills thing looks a bit worrying (mainly because I just hate all forms of random chance in games), but we'll see how that goes.

The whole jigsaw puzzle aesthetic in general looks pretty nice. I will definitely be trying out this game when it's finished. :D
I would think that to reduce lag you would disable the falling leaves
The falling leaves actually use up just very little of the performance. I tried it already, did not notice any performance difference and decided to leave them in both settings.

I don't know if the ABS resembles so much of Chain of Memories. I played that one like 5-6 years ago. Charging weapons is a part of several Action Based Games (Secret of Mana for instance), the difference with mine is that the weapon changes every second. :)

It is by the way not random. They return in the exact same sequence. If you know that the Healing spell comes up every 5 times it will come back in 5, 10, 15 times and so on.

I would consider my level up system as a mix between FFX and FFXII. ;)
If your trying to reduce lag, every little bit helps. It doesn't matter if that one thing alone doesn't reduce lag. Leaving it in is counter-intuitive to reducing lag.

*edit: And the battle system, seems...tedious. Too much running away. Maybe more defensive aspects with higher HP. Also a way to skip the current move and get closer to that heal spell.
