Contentious winner of the All Hallows Eve Event.

the WILL YOU EVER RETURN? DOUBLE FEATURE only on RMN also the triple and quadruple feature if I ever make them... and what do you call 5? Quintuple? that looks wrong? Pentuple? No, no no definitely quintuple, hex, sept, octo.... come on lets be realistic three or four at most I think.

Features:

*Well Under 2 HOURS OF unSOLID GAMEPLAY.
*VERY LARGE filesize.
*Irritating graphics including; badly cut sprite sheets, photoshop failure and not much more.
*A limited area to explore and unearth very few secrets.
*Over one unique character.
*Shallow and restricted battles.
*An irritating and frankly weird soundtrack by people you've never heard of.

Nice start to the year.

Indie Game Hunt had my game in their top 15 games of 2012! What a compliment!

Also that incredibly popular,beardy-lets-play guy is currently playing my game/s.

I never thought my first game would ever become so popular.

This game looks cool minus the reddit image thing.
That strange intersection between art and troll.

Yeah, you can have my subscribe.
Ok first impression is WTF I must try this! After playing it I must say I'm somewhat disturbed yet left wanting more... Keep it up!

Aw thanks, your support is really appreciated. The extended version comes out this weekend - if you're interested - which has twice the content and adds to the first part a bit.

I'll have to look into that once I buy my headset and ready to LP it.
108 MB... seriously?

108 MB... seriously?
Don't worry, the next update makes it much bigger.

edit: Aaah, it's too big you mean? Oh well, sorry about that. The animations take up some space and there's a lot of original music. I've only used 2 graphics from the RTP you see.

Okay, I'm an artist who makes a lot of custom resources, and I've been through the troubles of trying to keep a game at a decent MB rate. For the most part, I've failed at this. But in later projects, I now know how to create the world I want to create without making super overlays for everything ever.

With that said, how the fuck are you supposed to make a game that doesn't take up a good amount of MB without using RIP, and without making the game "old school?"

I mean, I might be ignorant here, but really bro? >.><.<
Look at how big the RTP is.

And think to yourself: "Is this game using RTP for everything?"

I'm not saying this game is optimized in terms of MB. What I am saying is that not every game made with RPG maker is RTP, or tones down EVERYTHING - 2K3 style.

If anything, this is the reason why 2K3 may never die.
Rant over. Again, I might be wrong here. So if you want to fix my error, feel free to do so.

I totally didn't optimize in terms of MB. Proof of point: I left in a 13 MB "epic" noise "song" that I didn't even use in the game just because I thought someone might like it. I didn't think 108MB was much really, not with internet and computer capabilities these days. Shame that something so paltry should put someone off. Still, going to up the filesize for the update...
Try using wavepad.
http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html

There's a free version, and it allows you to edit some of the songs down. I use it to remove parts of a song that waste MB.

Also, look into a MP3 into WMA converter. It can sometimes cut 50% of the MB off of a song. Very useful, very awesome, very sexy, very free.

(and yeah, I'm using black for my text because it's easier to read on a white background.)

Huh, you and me must have ver' similar practices, I'm using Wavepad right now. And cheers for the pointer on WMA, I'll look into that now, it doesn't reduce the quality* too much does it? Anyway, don't think I'll compromise my art* just for the sake of a few MB or downloads.

Not sure how I made all the writing go red. CSS newbe here.

*"quality" and "art" are used in a very loose sense.
To my knowledge, you cannot speed up WMA files using the editor. That might be only restriction. It doesn't work for every song, though - so make sure to check the memory on the converted file.
