Announcement

Four years later, bug fixes.

Just what it says! Some people from jayisgames actually played far enough to notice and report some bugs. Hence, a v2.0.

Miscellaneous

Finally complete.

A week or so later than I planned for, but at least it's done!

This is certainly not a "normal" RPG Maker game (it's not even an RPG, really) so it likely won't be very popular. RPG Maker was definitely not the best game maker for a puzzle game like this. In logic puzzles you want to see all the statements at once (like the example on the front page for this game), not one at a time like in the actual game.

RPG Maker was able to make it pretty, but the format will probably frustrate anyone who plays it. I've steeled myself for the fact that possibly no one at all will finish it, or even advance far enough to unlock the later scenarios. If you do finish, then, you'll be a rare specimen indeed! Please note me with your total time and I'll put it on the front page.

In the readme there are tips on each of the puzzles, which will hopefully be a little bit of help.

Anyway, I hope this game is at least one of the most unique RPG Maker experiences you've had. AND MAYBE YOU'LL LEARN SOMETHING TOO. Enjoy!

Miscellaneous

Hello Mr. Delay.

Well, I unofficially suggested to the playtesters that the game would be released no later than May 9th. That's tomorrow. And it won't be released tomorrow, that's for sure.

I'm adding a few new systems for practice mode which will take at least a day or two, but nothing really major. I just want this DONE.

Miscellaneous

Another cobwebby one.

Thank you for reading the Professor McLogic blog.

This game was started in the year 2001 (I think!) as an entry for some long-forgotten programming contest on rpg2knet.com. It consisted of only the first scenario. Did it win the contest? I have no idea, since I never heard of the contest again. Oh well.

Since then, the game has been subjected to my usual work ethic, which is to give it a spurt of attention for a week or so, then forget about it for months and years at a time. Hence the fact that it is only nearing completion now, in 2008.

There won't be a public release of the beta version, but if you're interested in being a beta tester, please send me a message or comment here!
