Stream of Consciousness: Encountering Mitsuya Masako

So, players are going to come across Mitsuya Masako in some way, shape, or form. Among the many possibilities that may occur with the encounter is facing her in battle. So, I thought to myself, "I'm going to need a battler for Masako". Just using the "wizard, female" battler from Ace's RTP wasn't quite sitting well with me. However, I'm not particularly good with drawing things from scratch yet. However, I've give the "female wizard" from Ace's RTP an edit:
Greetings. I am Mitsuya Masako.
Okay, so Masako would never actually dress like that, and the hair might need some more work. However, given what I can do, I think I'm generally on the right track? I know I don't want to use Masako's "Heartache tachie" as a base for her battler, so if there's any suggestions...
Graphics and battles aside, I'm thinking about what other kinds of options players might have. I might have blogged earlier about having her join your party. If she doesn't join the party, players won't get access to "Beacon". So, maybe, there is a way the party can still get access to an item that replicates "Beacon", regardless of how the encounter with Masako ends up? I might need a bit of testing to see how that situation would work. I'd also like to test what, exactly, happens with an item that replicates how "Beacon". My guess is that I'm over-worrying, but one never knows.

Like a side-by-side comparision? Sure, I can manage that!
Original on left, edited on right.
I didn't edit all that much, huh?

LOL Only the hair was different XD
OK... I haven't played Matsumori High yet, but I saw videos of it. Masako is supposed to be a nice, intelligent student, right ? So did she turn out to be evil or do we simply fight her for some other reasons ? :P

Well, I figured I'd be better off just changing the hair color than trying to make a battler with the outfit

The basic deal is: Here's this person who obviously knows quite a bit. Konae can tell at least that much, but she doesn't know everything about Masako. So, she might think that the best way to get the information she needs is by beating it out of Masako. She might also think that a bribe could work. Or, maybe, just talking to Masako could work. There's options here, as you can see, and the player would get to choose which one Konae ultimately decides on.
