Super RMN World is a community collaborative project made in Super Mario Bros. X. It's the 5th game in the Super RMN Bros. line; a series of similar projects that have run on this site over the years.

This event was judged by halibabica, Deckiller, nin8halos, Isrieri, and DarklordKeinor. They oversaw the critique and approval of the stages submitted to the project to ensure a high-quality end result. With 78 levels in total, they certainly had their work cut out for them! But it was all worth it. This episode is leaps and bounds greater than everything in the series prior.

The Plot: As a peace offering for his past misdoings, Eli has constructed an art gallery and presented it to Mario and his friends. The paintings inside shimmer mysteriously; they're almost too real! Eli waits at the end to hear what his guests have to say, but can he really be trusted?

You need Super Mario Bros. X to run this game. If you don't have it, you'll need to download it. When you download this game, unzip it into SMBX's 'Worlds' folder. Run SMBX, click 'Start Game', and you're ready to play!

Also, for hints, secrets, and other info about the game, check out the Super RMN World Wiki!

People still care about this game, right?

Alex Mattson liked Yoshi's Archipelago so much that he took my recommendation to check this out, too. He just started his LP series!

Copy the url from the address bar (don't use youtube's default way of linking stuff) and put it in the proper youtube tags. That might be what you are missing.

I was just able to get it to work right here, you might also want to remove the link to your playlist while using youtube tags. The code I used was this:

[youtube][url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9P1P3aq93w[/url][/youtube]

(highlight it to view the web address, this page's CSS is messing stuff up with the font display)
You don't need the url tag in there. But yeah, you gotta get a certain link. Not the ones with the playlist on the side or one's that show up when you clicked on a related video after watching another vid. I grab my url's from my Video Manager. Even when you upload something, youtube says it will be live at "url" and they put it as youtu.be or something stupid. WTF!
So, I gave this a try tonight. I love how this feels so legit, just like playing on the SNES. Here's the one issue I'm facing. I don't know if I just suck at Mario games in my old age, or if playing on a keyboard is making me suck, but I have literally not gained a star with ANY character on any level. I am dying constantly!

I really love Link mode, though. The jump + down slash is a really nice touch. I feel as though Peach makes the game a lot easier, since she can fly over those tricky gaps. On the technical side, I am experiencing a very slight bit of lag whenever a music track resets and when P blocks or red coins make things appear/disappear. It's not game-breaking, but gives me a little screen stutter.

Where do I sign the petition for Samus mode?!

SMBX is a quirky program that takes some getting used to for playing. As for the lag, well, the game drives like a tank on some computers because it requires more processing power than it rightly ought to.

If only Redigit had ever released the source...
If I ever unpack all of my boxes after moving (still have about ten sitting in the closets), I'll give it a go with a gamepad (it's in one of those boxes somewhere). :D
I just found Super RMN World yesterday. Forgive me if this is considered spam. I made a Youtube channel to show you me playing this game. Complete with awkward not knowing what to say commentary! But the commentary gets better in the second part. They're all currently being uploaded now.

I would have more makerscore If I did things.

Ah, no that;s not really spam, but you know a more appropriate place for that?
The media page! Click "Submit Media", and post your video there! That way people have more of a chance of seeing, considering I doubt people not subscribed would scroll all the way down to the comments.

tl;dr Post it as a media please!

Sorry you're right. I didn't even realize it. I'll submit media. Posting as media. Thanks for telling me.

Super RMNK World

There is no K in the title. Please refrain from putting a K in the title. The only other person who ever put a K in the title was ShortStar, and now I'm tempted to believe you're him.

There is. No. K.

But now it broke your link. D:

But you're gonna submit it as media anyway, so it's all good, right? :333

Hey you guys know that raocow has a patreon account now right?

I know he's expressed interest in playing this to halibabica about a year ago or so, but now that he has this it might not crop up for quite a while if ever.

I'm not suggesting going and pledging just so he plays this one game, but I feel I ought to let y'all know for news' sake. He liked All-Stars a lot, and I get the feeling he'd like this one too. But no one seems to know about this game except for us so no one's going to pitch it over at the talkhaus except for me (and I'm technically not supposed to since its a game I worked on!)

For the interested: We totally had a thread over there for like, a day.

*shrug* While I'm convinced raocow would love this game (and the exposure would be amazing), we're in no position to tell him or any other internet celebrity what to do with their time. I pitched it to him in a friendly PM, but he told me he had a lot lined up for the time being. I know how that can be, so I'm unsurprised nothing has come of it yet. If there are "proper channels" for how to promote this to him, I'm down for exploring them, but I can't afford to pay for an LP currently. :P
Is there going to be another community mario game or is this it?

Actually, using the sequel to retroactively promote this game would be a good idea. As long as we make talkhaus aware of the second game during production, it can help direct their attention at the first since it flew under their radar.

Or so goes the theory. I've never successfully promoted anything on the internet.
Problem is what theme do we go with. all the mario games from 1 to world have been done. Yoshis island could work but that we be alot of custom graphics
