Introduction
Clam Digger was created by Spoonweaver using OHRRPGCE and is a rather terrible game about finding a parking spot at a beach. Though, this game was probably meant to be terrible considering it's based on a description given by Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Gameplay
The game itself is all about finding a parking spot as quickly as possible which dictates what your score will be. The higher the score the better you did. Though, the game is rather lacking in terms of strategy or depth since parking spots open up at random and you'll largely find yourself beat to an open spot by magically teleporting "smart" cars. As such the game will often end with you losing since you'll be unable to park your car. As such I'd just recommend driving around hitting people since it's far more amusing then struggling to get into an open parking space.
Bugs
One of the cars on the top row is intangible. On the plus side this allows for the player to drive onto the beach in order to run over hordes of innocent beach goers. Since you'll have far more fun committing brutal hit and runs on the numerous pets and people wandering around then you will trying to find a parking space.
Graphics
Graphically speaking the game features a rather old-school 8-bit look. Which may or may not be a bad thing based on your perspective. Or you may fall in the middle like I do and find it to neither be an asset nor a weakness.
Sound
On the sound side of things the game features a few simple but appropriate sound effects and one of the most addictive background songs I've heard in a game. Sadly, this track feels wasted on a game that has no intention of being taken seriously by the player.
Conclusion
Clam Digger is one of those games which sounds great, has passable visuals, but is plagued by terrible gameplay. Though, as I stated previously, this game was probably meant to be bad. As such the only reason to download this game is in order to play a prank on your friends by letting them experience the frustration that is Clam Digger.
