Oh are you overhauling it, Nightblade?
Well yes, though I'm not sure if overhaul is the best word.

To elaborate a bit more, I fell into a few rpgmaker traps, after coming to the realization I thought it would be best if I went back and fixed some of them before going on.

Characters werent different enough from one another so I'm now limiting all characters to three unique commands and changing a few of what current commands do. Example: Thanatos' "Alchemy" command was just a dressed up magic command, now he'll have the standard Arcana command, and an alchemy command; which will behave a lot like the Geomancy skill from FFT). So instead of having

Fang - A regular attack that just drained mp
Alchemy - Different named generic magic command
Defend -
Item -

He'll have

Alchemy - An MP free magic attack that varies depending on the enviroment.
Arcana - Standard Magic Command
Item - Item command (As an Alchemist, Thanatos can use certain items other characters cannot)


The introduction did a poor job of foreshadowing so it's being completely redone (actually this part is pretty much done).

The activities that follow after you first get control of the real protagonist I'm also not very happy with, so that's getting a bit of touching up.

Hey sounds cool. I am all for making characters much more unique. You find a lot of RM games that fall into that trap. :/
Okay, I just finished the demo. I cannot begin to express the rage I felt when 'To Be Continued...' reared it's ugly head. I wanted more!

But yes, I enjoyed what I played immensely. It's a huge improvement over Demon Legacy, I look forward to seeing where this goes.

This just hit me, but are we ever going to see what Shadar looks like underneath that hood? I don't mean a shadowed image of his face, but the full-on head.
I thougt it was established in demon legacy that shadar is that prince dude you control at the beginning.
I think the key word here is 'was'.
Playing over the game just recently, I remembered that. Though, in his present miasma form, does he still possess the same general structure that he did when he was human?

He has no head, or face. His body can't even be considered solid; which is one of the reasons why it's so difficult to even hurt him.

Great start. Infinitely repeating enemies are annoying tho. Have to kill off within a turn or they reappear. Can't wait til it's finished.
