++++ UPDATE ++++

Unfortunately due to my computer being virus ridden and losing all of my game data I am going to stop development on Crayon Country. I lost three months of development due to a bloody virus!
Lesson to be learnt kids, always backup your files!

This is my third game with RPG Maker VX Ace.

I've gone for a different art style again. I was inspired by all the doodles we used to do at school drawing assault courses for each other when we should have really been doing work. I wanted the game to look like it was scribbled on a notepad. It's very simple looking but hopefully not too monotonous.

I wanted to make a longer game than my previous two games and be a little bit more in depth game-play wise. If I have time I might stick in some optional quests. I want to have three main quest dungeons around a city hub.

Hope you like the look of the screenshots. I hope to have some more up soon!

Oh and the name is a throwback to Donkey Kong Country!

I know you're going for a minimalistic style, but I think a few more details would be a good thing. More bricks, random trees, maybe some water-filled spaces...just some stuff to add a bit of atmosphere and whatnot. I don't think it has to be on the level of a typical RTP/Mac game, but yeah.

Fair comment. I'll try and beautify it a little. I'll definitely stick in some random trees and the like. Thanks for the feedback.
