Made during TOJam 6 (2011), ERR is a simple RTS where the player takes control of police forces during an international, high-profile conference, and must prevent protesters from getting into the head conference building where the negotiations are being held.

Left-clicking your police squads will select them and left-clicking again will move them around the city, pushing protesters in that direction, and preventing them from advancing towards the conference building.

While most protesters are peaceful (the red ones), some are destructive and will destroy the city once there's a big enough crowd around them (the black ones). These can be arrested by selecting a police squad and right-clicking on the square the rioter is on, but will also arrest any peaceful protesters in the squad's path.

If the rioters do too much damage, you'll get fired for not protecting the city. Arrest too many peaceful protesters, and the public outcry will get you fired.

Keep the damage to the city low, without using too much police force, until the timer runs out to win!

This game's premise seems interesting. I'll have to keep my eyes on this one.
Very cool idea. Though as I look at your maps all I can think is, I want to use that city scape for my City Rampage game idea.
reading this title I was, like, 99% sure that a Simulator game had found its way here somehow.

I love jam games! I'll give this a play a bit later. what made you keep this to yourself for two years, though?

Go ahead. I wanted to make more detailed buildings, and I did go a bit in that direction at first, but it was taking too long and I wasn't getting it to look good enough for my tastes, so I just slashed it down to white and gray buildings. Very easy to make and modify too.

Laziness.

And to be honest, I only posted it now since I wanted to post my most recent TOJam game, but realized I hadn't posted my last one yet. :S
