I agree, however I'm getting around that by using the bottom line as you stated, as an additional space for information down there.
In a perfect world I'd be able to have just the top half scroll and the bottom half scroll when necessary, but I haven't figured out how to do that. The script (and maybe Ace's code in general???) seems to consider the entire box to be an inseparable part of code, instead of both lines being its own separate, codable entity.
Or at least I think!

The only way I can think right now to do so is to keep re-blitting the first line each frame, so it is the only one that scrolls. Because I guess what the script does is change the ox for the contents bitmap, right?

I think he's talking about dynamically adjusting the position of the second line while they both move. It sounds like it'd be difficult, especially if the code doesn't recognize each line as separate.
I like the dark background for this menu and the white text pops well on it! But the portrait's kind of dark too, so it looks like it blends in a bit.
i already offered to (try and) fix it for mog soonish, so hopefully he can re-gif this with ENHANCED CLARITY </riot gamz>
