Broken Game.

I was gonna leave this alone, because I was under the influence they were going to fix it, instead of trying to remake it in a 3-D version and sell it for 10$. Because their first attempt, with RPGMaker on Windows went so well it should go amazing, right? Anyhow, let's get to it. I've bit my tongue long enough why this game is broken.

Story.
Right off the bat it start off with the cliche that's been done so much to death even video game characters should know to just sell the damn house, but she took it anyhow. A storm knocks out the power if I remember, and that's literally as far as anyone has gotten because the monster spawning causing so much lag the game is unplayable. How does this pertain to the story? One: Logically, first time anyone who gets attack by a fucking MONSTER they would leave and either sell the house or burn it down. She probably doesn't do either. Nor does she question why her Grandmother's diary is locked tight, yet wants in it. She might starts questioning later but who knows. It's already hit three, THREE, cliches. Wait...Somesort of relative dies and gives you the house(1), the storm knocks out the power(2), before death grandmother wouldn't allow you into the BASEMENT(Hmmmmm 3), monsters literally appear out of thin air(4). Alright I was close. No one can get passed how lagtastic this game is, so I can't give you a full cliche count. So many horror games pull this and it doesn't bring anything new to the table, it is literally the same elements with nothing original to the story. It focuses heavily on ''You got a new house! WITH LOTS OF CHASERS!!!!!'' With possibly an ending we all see coming.

Gameplay
Where do I start? They promise a couple of things that they really never deliver. The meter can very well run out, and it won't effect the game play. I have yet to see this bug fixed. The rooms are so cramp the only places you're not constantly bumping into crap is the hall and outside. There are games that can spawn monsters out of no where(ie Ao Oni) without lag, this one has no excuse. It doesn't give much of a hint and zero reminders to what you're supposed to be doing, so if you plan on taking a break, you better write down what you think you might need to do. The lack of music doesn't make you on edge, it makes you bored. The lack of anyone doesn't make you lonely, it makes you want to shuffle this game to the back of the library. They also state there's voice acting, which I can say is a plus for what it is, but there's only one person.

All and all, they had an idea, but the end result was very poor. For quite a while I had it on my game list because I assumed they would fixed it, and removed it as soon as I saw that was not the case.

I fixed the lag and the meter. What version of the game were you playing?
And yes it is very cliche, but it is my first actual game, so it was more to see what we could do.
Hopefully you will enjoy my next game better!

Even after the update/fixed version I re-downloaded it, the meter was still broken. I'll download it again to see if it's still broken, 'though.
I fixed it a few times. I thought I had fixed it dangit >_<

It's fixed. Do you have play testers? You reallyyyy need those, and if you do they don't sound like they're testing every aspect.
I was the only play tester because in the end it was just me at my house trying to finish the game before the due date, so I ended up overlooking a lot of things since, you know, I was the one who made it, and also because I was in a rush.

At least it's a good learning experience! There will definitely be beta testers on the next one.
