Celebrating Over 5000 Downloads

As of this day, October 8th, 2011, Dragon Fantasy has reached 5000 downloads! Amazing, isn't it? I didn't think it'd ever come this far, or that I'd be making a blog like this every few Months! It's just too bad some of my other games aren't near as popular as this. Ha ha.

So again, I offer to all those who've downloaded this game thanks, and appreciate whatever time--be it great or small--that you've put into playing any of my projects. Thank you!

In other news, I'm in the process of rebooting the Dragon Fantasy series. I finally know what direction I want to go and how I want to story to work, so I've decided that simply RESTARTING would be the best way to do things. How? Well, simply call the titles within the series so far "non-canon" once this new game is released onto the internet. And don't worry, it's still retaining its NES style with MIDIs and what-not. However this time around I'm foregoing the World Map and making exploration akin to Secret of Mana and the like. So I hope you all keep an eye out for when it makes an appearance in the future!

Well, I don't know what kind of text file you have there, or why I wrote it, but Kentona is right! There is no way to start DF2 with DF1 data, and there's no event in there that is even remotely similar! I probably put that there what I was updating the game or something, and more than likely meant "Change over your saves from that folder in to this one so that you don't have to start over again" or something. I can't remember, really. =P
What's with all of the spam? o.O
I think you're the one who'd benefit most from buying those essay paper, ma'am. I'll leave them for you!

>:C

Damn spam.
Maybe they think your essays suck.
They think MY ESSAYS SUCK?! Those BASTARDS! I'll find 'em and slit their throats...!!! Rage!
strange their usernames all have a number in them and they all sem to revolve around 30...
Because everyone loves the number 30! And huzzah for yet another 50 downloads. I'd like to know where they're all coming from so I could divert a few towards the sequel. =O
Add in a new page of You may also like... and list the sequel there!
Done! It's about time I added one of those "You may also like..." pages to the DF Main Page. =O
After finally having some time to quote on this, here are my thoughts on this game:

The story was simple, maybe a bit cliche with a vengeful(SPOILER CENSORED) and the crystals, but I found the story to be alright.

The game play to this game was simple and straightforward, no complaints really with this game.

As far as suggestions, none, this game was simply well... simple beginning to end, I loved it really.

I give this game 9/10, as I always felt more could be added to this game since I was poking around inside of your game I found cut-content that didn't seem to make it.

When I download a game it won't let me play it. How do I play them?
Hi, I've finished your game, and it was a cool game but, the game has fewer flaws...

The world map seems artificial, and like I can't see the WM, the exploration was not very fun...

The battles in the last dungeon are too hard, monsters have too much HP, I've always escaped battles...

I will play Dragon Fantasy 2 tomorrow ^^
Hello, I figured I'd show you somethin' interesting. :3

Who came first? XD
Well THAT's interesting. But I can't believe those bastards stole my completely original and unique idea/name! >=O

Lol. 16 years in the making, huh? Well that's nice. Weird how it's also NES-styled.

But anyway, this series is officially considered (by myself, anyway) to now be named "Venaitura." I wanted to after the second game and halfway through DF:Venaitura, but I couldn't really do much about it at that point. Lol.
I'm almost nearing over 5000 downloads. I cannot believe this! And DF II is still so far behind that it's nearly laughable.

I plan on making a new DF in the near future, and it will essentially restart the series. These games will then be made obsolete in the grand scheme of things, and just be there to say that I made a game. Lol. I've just FINALLY gotten down=path what I want to do with the series, and have decided to start over. Don't worry though, I'll still be keeping with the NES style.
I swear to god Giruvegan is nearly impossible at levels under 10, but i finally beat him in a LLG. Check out my latest video for more, i have the other 4 bosses before him as well.

....I suppose i'm the communities challenge runner now...=P

I love the spelling mistake there in the screenshot. It just stares you right in the face. Hahahaha.
