WARNING: SPOILER ALERT: The information contained herein comes from the BOOM! Comic series written by series creator Rockne S. O'Bannon.

The Peacekeeper Wars have ended. The legendary Eidolons have directed the peace treaty of the Scarrans and the Peacekeepers. The Scarran Emperor Staleek fearing what power the Eidolons may have used to create this peace dares not break the treaty. Yet while the treaty specifically ends the war in the Peacekeeper territories and in Tormented Space, Staleek realizes that the treaty does nothing to protect the Uncharted Territories.

Scorpius, who has hounded the human castaway, the astronaut John Crichton for years, seeking the secret of wormholes. All was lost when he learned that the awesome power of the wormhole was indeed what John always said it was: too powerful to be in mortal hands, and so Scorpius, in self-imposed exile, mourns the death of his dreams of vengeance against the Scarrans. Born half-Scarran, Scorpius longed to avenge the rape and ultimate murder of his Sebacean mother. What was he without vengeance? Sitting upon an ice world, he is attacked by Khorr. Easily dispatching his attackers, the survivors name him the leader of the Khorr, and with this new development comes a discovery: John Crichton's son, D'Argo Sun-Crichton has the power to control time. Scorpius' dreams of revenge are born anew. Foreseeing the danger, John and Aeryn spirit their son away and hide him on Earth, leaving him in the care of John's family, safely out of Scorpius' reach.

Seeking answers to the mystery of her son, Aeryn Sun returns to the Peacekeepers, having learned of food tampering by the citizens of Prybella, and suspecting experiments from within the Peacekeeper government. Aeryn, uncertain and confused, has turned to the ancient teachings of Yemahl. Peacekeeper Admiral Yav Tosek, hoping to introduce the ancient religion to his forces, names Aeryn Commandant, dismissing Grayza.

Now, Aeryn is pregnant again. Sensing the same danger that surrounded her son, she removes the infant from her body's natural stasis and she and John find a Diagnosian to deliver the child in secret. This is where our story begins.

New Screenshots

I may not like the graphics that VX Ace comes with, but I absolutely love what you can put in their place. I know from having seen them that you can makes games in RM2k3 that look just as good as games in VX Ace, but clearly for all of the options you don't get in VX Ace, it makes it much, much easier to make your games look really good. If you're following me, you'll notice that I've been putting up new screenshots and you'll also notice that I haven't been pulling the 2k3 screenshots down. That's so you can compare the old screenshots to the new.

I've obviously got a new animation of Moya flying through space. It's not that I couldn't have made the 2k3 animation look like the VX Ace animation. It's simply that it's easier to make the animation in VX Ace. Transparency in pictures is easier to deal with. In 2k3, I choose to pixel draw the Moya model because it was easier to deal with in animations. In VX Ace, using a photo of a model is much more practical. Now, the backdrop picture really is pointless. I did a pixel drawn space backdrop just because I loved the effects I could make and still do. Obviously, an actual NASA photo looks better, and though I'll still be creating space backgrounds, I'll likely be doing imagery against a real photo of an empty star field to make them more realistic.

For the main control room of Moya, I've got a new image also. There's a few things going on here. I obviously haven't made any DRDs yet, but the viewing window is back, and it is actually the same graphic from 2k3; I've just enlarged it, added some lights and made the window transparent so I can show a parallax background through it. Another thing I've done is redesign the consoles to make them look more functional. If you watch the show through all four seasons and the miniseries finale, you will note that not once do you ever get a good look at the control consoles on Moya. In a few scenes, you can catch a glimpse of of a yellowish oranges light and in pouring through episodes, in A Clockwork Nebari, I was finally able to get a look at the side of one and saw black paneling with knobs. I've represented that here, and lastly, if you look at the picture, you'll see I've included 8 direction walking.

Anyway. That is the latest and the more I work, the more material I will put up. I'm working towards making a playable demo.
