Just a minor update

I can't believe it's been over 2 years since I first started this project. Since then, I have made a good deal of progress. I do believe that this will be my first ever completed project (I have had 4 serious ones and several minor side projects since I started working with rm2k, none of which have amounted to more than a demo.)

This time around, I've revamped all of the graphics as well as begun to iron out major plot elements and such. I decided to combine this project's story with another project I wrote a hell of a lot for a few years back. They are of similar setting, so I think it fits. Also, I did a lot of character backgrounds for that "other" story and I am sorely lacking interesting characters for this one.

- Some Story Stuff -

Esolone is a lush green world similar to ours. In an ancient era separate from the one in the current timeline, Esolone was populated by a race of godlike beings who worshiped a crystal moon. This moon was used for unknown purposes and was eventually obliterated, sending many moon crystal shards down upon the earth. (Kinda like Skies of Arcadia, I guess.) The ancient race has long left this world for another.

Currently, the crystal shards retain much of the original power of the ancient moon, though it is unknown how to combine them together in order to repair the original creation or improve their potency. Nowadays several city-states dot the landscape, each one populated by a particular race of humanoids. The Lundarin are a scientific race, and they choose to use the still potent power of crystal shards to uncover great mysteries and such.

Just wanted to let anyone who is interested in this project know a little bit more, and also that I am still working on it. Very much so. My life is pretty settled right now, after a few years of constant upheaval, so hopefully it will stay that way and I can get a lot done consistently enough to finish it. I sometimes have a social life and other hobbies as well, but would quickly abandon any such pleasantries in order to fully engage myself on this, what is right now my truest calling!
