Thyden Screenshots

Hello again friends. Here are two screenshots of some work-in-progress, an area of Thyden Harbour. I have a strong mental picture of Thyden that my output isn't quite matching somehow, but after two days the map's in good enough shape to be worth sharing (I think). When visited in-game, this area will be alive and thronging with NPCs going about their business, though for now (as part of a kind of tradition I've stumbled into) Orphan is standing alone just to give an idea of scale.

I added water for the sake of having a background, but this area is just one section of a much larger town, so it won't be floating in the middle of the ocean when complete.

Excellent work. I <3 this so much.
Really nice! Perhaps decrease the contrast on the floor tiles a little though, I feel that they attract too much of the viewer's attention - they are so much more visually intense that my brain almost wants to interpret them as the foreground (though that will certainly be less pronounced in motion)

Yeah, it's a good point. There are a few other aspects a little 'off' in my eyes too, so I'll be tweaking and polishing extensively.
I agree with Hasvers in a way. I think the floor should blend in with the buildings a little more because right now it blends in with the water and it looks a bit off. Maybe make the water a little darker or the floor. Or experiment with both, add some detail or new colors to the water and see how it goes. Make backups before each change though.

Nice work overall!
