It's (almost) done.

With less than a week until release, I have finally finished the last cutscene, meaning the game is essentially 100% complete. Now I just need to tweak some music and do one last round of polishing and the game will be ready for public release! I don't really want to show you too much here in terms of screenshots since the more you see now, the less impact it'll have when you actually play the game.

Also, the professor decided to add in a new requirement: I have to do a Let's Play for this. I don't have a microphone, so sorry for anyone who wanted to hear my sexy voice (although I do think I need to get one at some point in my life...)

I'm not sure if I should post that here. Other than the Makerscore, I don't see any benefit of having it. 15 Makerscore is always a good incentive for me, but for YOU, the player... I don't know. Let me know if you DO want it, and I'll post it here after the game's been out for awhile.


On a slightly humorous note: No one in my class had ever heard of RPG Maker before. After watching me work on it during October, over half the class switched from their other engines to RPG Maker. I'm spreading the message!

Note going to lie: This is pretty damn hilarious! Go, Red_Nova!

Anyway, as to the question of whether or not to post the LP as media for the gamepage. I think you have the right idea of delaying it's posting here. You want to give your most interested players some time to play the game for themselves. Then, after, say, a month, you can post the LP, which, ideally speaking, leads to further discussion about the game.

Waiting for it, personally I find Let's play that aren't voiced pretty boring but useful if I'm stuck somewhere.

That's a good point. At the very least, even if people do ask for it, I'll certainly wait about a month before posting it.

I suppose an LP isn't the best choice of words. It'd be more of a... video walkthrough, I guess?
