Could be interesting, but there's not much there.

When I say there's not much there; I mean that even the slow exploring type won't clock in anything above five minutes unless they seek to get more than one ending. (I counted two so far)

This makes it pretty hard to review the game in the same way I would the others that I have, but I'm going for it anyway.
Note: This is for the first demo of the game.

Story
The game starts off with our main character Ace, and her friend Landry, having a normal conversation, albeit with abnormal attire.

After their short exchange on what Ace is thinking about, Landry leaves, and the game gives you control of our interestingly dressed heroine. Besides a talking cat that will save your game, (I'm pretty sure the same cat mentioned in the last bit of story you'll find) there's nothing much to the story besides exploring the kitchen on the second floor.

It's here in the kitchen you can taste some expired lettuce, get weird feelings from plants, read a note, and experience the two endings I mentioned above.

Gameplay
Or lack thereof. There's nothing menu based, except deciding a couple of things, so the rest of the game consists of walking around and seeing if this object can be interacted with or not.

On the first floor, for example, there's not much at all to interact with, including the cupboards and bookshelves. However, by the second floor these same types of items can in fact be interacted with. It's an odd inconsistency that might send the player to the bad ending of the game first, since one of the endings requires the player to press enter at a bookshelf.

Graphics and Sound
Putting these together again since the game's so short. The portraits/character sets for the two characters Ace and Landry, event backgrounds, title/game over screen, windowskin, music, and sounds are entirely custom. (with characters being based on the VX/ACE default)

The mapping itself is pretty big for not being the most detailed, but it actually feels like a home which let me enjoy moving around in them.

The two music tracks go perfectly with making each scene just a little unsettling, and at least for me, let's the player know there is something off about everything that goes on. If you get the bad ending, you'll also hear the only custom voice in the game.

Bugs for the Dev
♦ You have words in certain sentences where you'll capitalize a word you don't have to after a large set of ellipses.
Example: Oh, yeah...Just...Thinking... << "Just" and "Thinking" don't have to be capitalized.
♦ Your save screen is entirely in Japanese; I didn't test it, but if a person's region code isn't for Japan, they might see nothing but white squares where words should be.
♦ The bad ending says version 2 of the demo has ended, while the other end says it's just version 1 that has ended. Which one is right?
♦ I can walk on the second floor windows:

Stray Observations
♠ Talking to my cat allows me to save? o_o The cat speaks too?
♠ Is going outside imagination taboo? Or is that where it would truly open up?
♠ Ellipses...ellipses everywhere...

I can tell this game has the potential to be very interesting and bizarre once there's more to it, since the demo gives us a small taste of what's to come, but as it is now, it's much too short to really tell what's going on besides the bare basics that requires you to read the gamepage to understand.

To anyone thinking of downloading this game; I'd wait for more content, unless you're that curious.
