You (whoever you are) find yourself in a dungeon full of slimes and the only exit is locked. Your trusty sword in hand, you head deeper into the dungeon in search of the key...

Slime Dungeon is a short Zelda-like action-RPG (mostly action, not much RPG) made in IG Maker using a GameBoy-inspired palette.
The game features:
⋆Randomised key location (a different experience every(?) time)
⋆Old-school Zelda-type camera movement with GameBoy-esque colours
⋆Original music
⋆Unoriginal sound effects
⋆Lots of slimes to kill

Slime Dungeon Now Available on RMN!

Hi! I've been haunting RMN for something like a billion years now, but I finally felt like I should register and share something of my own.

Slime Dungeon, my first completed action-RPG, is now available right here on RMN!

If you're interested in knowing more about the game (which was completed late last year), you can check my official blog about its development and release HERE, and my afterthoughts on the project HERE.

Hope you enjoy it! :)

Hm, IG Maker. Hm, Interesting.
Waiting for my man, download, man.
Sorry for the delay - it's now available to download!

Hope you enjoy it! :)

Well, I got a LP submitted for this game. It's a bit on the short side, but it's not a bad game per se. I think it would have been funny with a humorous back story about you breaking into the fortress of the Slime Liberation Front (SLF) to steal their plans for world conquest, but those glorious <insert expletive here> locked the front door after they heard you rampaging through their fortress like a force of nature and hid the key on the hopes that they could beat you with sheer numbers before you find it.
Thanks for the comment and the Let's Play! It was awesome!

I also liked your back story idea - very original!

I did have a back story in mind when I made it, but I chose not to include it partially because I wanted to leave it up to the players' imaginations... Maybe I'll post my back story someday if enough people seem interested. :)

This was pretty well done from IG Maker good job hoping to see some new stuff soon!
Thanks! I had never completed anything RPG-like in IG Maker before (though I have finished some platformers using it), so this was kind of an experiment.

I do have something bigger in the works! I hope to be able to show it off soon. :)
