Two years ago, six heroes were tasked with saving the world.
So they did.
However, once again the world is under threat from an evil force,
and once again, these six heroes are called on by their Kingdom to stand up against it.
This is their story.

Meet May, a young girl who wants nothing more than to become an adventurer. Nothing in life is free, however, and she's working her first job as a Barmaid in one of Castle City's many pubs. Imagine her shock when five of her customers are Legendary World-Class Heroes who had saved the world from destruction a couple of years ago!
Not only that, they seem to have taken an interest in her.
Guide May through five unique plotlines centred around five unique people in their journey to save the world, clear up the past, and maybe- just maybe-

It’s time to announce the winners of the April was a Fool Design Contest!
In first place, is Winter’s design with a landslide of 57% of the votes. A huge, HUGE congrats to our winner! Your design will be featured in the game! I’m very excited~! It’s a great design.
In second place is Fictional01‘s design! It was a tight race between this and another design; watching them battle was pretty epic!
And Maki’s Pick goes to Gourd-clae I found the design to be really charming to work with!
So a huge applause for our winners! And another huge applause to everyone who entered. We got some wonderful designs all around and I was very excited to see them all. (I may just draw them all in the future just because) And yet another applause for everyone who voted. There’d be no winners without you.
To our winners, I’ll be contacting you personally soon to sort out your rewards and such. Don’t forget everyone who entered wins a free sketch of the AwaF character of their choice! So hit me up by email with which character you would like. :)

Hi guys, thanks for a great game!
Just found and finished it today (in one sitting!) and had heaps of fun. For such an irreverent name and art-style, things got surprisingly deep and twisted and I found myself getting a little bit emotional during some routes.
A couple of tiny issues... I notice in Erwin's castle garden ending that he says 'conscious' instead of 'conscience'.
Also, I'm having trouble unlocking Gabby's final CG and the last one in the bonus menu. Have I missed something? I did play through everyone's routes at least twice, though!
Good luck with your future projects; I'll be keeping my eyes open for them!

This game is a total gem so far! I've finished Gabby's route and will be pursuing Gunn next! I'm really enjoying myself! I really like these characters :DDDDD

If you're missing the CG with her at the inn, then the key is to have her at the highest affection out of everyone in the party by the time you leave the castle. (It doesn't matter whose route you are on for the inn scenes. It's purely based on the affection score) Quickest way is to pick Destruction Magic as your study and pick to burn down the village. There's a negative point choice to avoid in one of the other choices in the castle. "The five of you are still heroes!"
Oh, of course, you have to let her stay in your room as well. ;)
If you got both endings, that's the only CG I can think you'd be missing.

Cool game! The main character felt a little passive for my tastes sometimes, but it was interesting exploring how the party had fractured with April gone. Sorta reminded me of Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle. The menu adjusting HP/MP/Affection bars was a nice touch. Did anybody level up during the story? I didn't check.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed what you've played of the game so far! There's 11 endings in total, 2 for each character and 1 very... special ending.
AwaF has made my gears turn a lot for Gemstar. It's given me some new ideas that I'm really exited to implement. It was a great learning experience!

Thank you! I'm unfamiliar with Embric, but maybe I'll check it out. The PC's lack of involvement in a few bits is, I agree, rather unfortunate. It was one of my biggest challenge in the writing - I'm not used to having to design a blank slate-ish sort of character. I kept wanting to scrap it and change her into her own persona haha I'm glad that the game's plot was interesting though!
No one levels up during the game - Which is a shame. Perhaps we'll implement that later, because it doesn't make sense for

Blake not to gain a level after they defeat the dragon. He's lv23!!!

So then, I finally unlocked all CG's (and with that 10 of the 11 promised endings) and they were all great! But... I noticed that none of the CG's in the gallery belong to the secret ending.
So, unless I'm wrong and I had already unlocked it, could you please give me a clue on how get the secret ending? (Because it looks pretty unlikely that I unlock it by myself... XD)

If you have all the CGs then yeah, you unlocked the secret ending. The secret ending is the Evil end. (so the corresponding CG is the one on the same page as the holy king kiss CG)
The key to unlocking it is to have an affection of 30 or less with the character whose route you are on, minus Gunn. (This ending cannot be triggered on Gunn's route, because Evil doesn't show up on his route.) Chances are you triggered this on Blake's route, so thought it was a part of Blake's bad ending. (this is what happened to Indrah while I was watching her stream.) because the break between Good/Bad end is before the break between the Evil end, whereas for Erwin, Gabby, and Kent the Evil end check is before the Good/Bad split.
If that's the case, you missed some conversation at the end of Blake's true bad ending, but still unlocked the CG.

I absolutely loved this visual novel. It was one of the greatest I have played in a long time. As an added bonus, it's free! Three cheers for free stuff! I really like the story(which is a given, of course) and the various personalities of each character. I think I'm 100% complete with this game, which is weird for me because I just downloaded this a few hours ago. I hope you make more visual novels or games that are this good.
P.S. - I'll be waiting to see Gunn Rose's pajamas. The CG for it doesn't really give me a good view XD
