Evania: The Bulan Conflict tells the story of two best friends as they journey to unravel the secrets of a past war...
Set in the region of Bulan, spanning three countries in the world of Dagan, their quest will be long and arduous. Accompanied by a legion of friends and pursued by an endless swath of enemies, the first of many stories will be told by the actions of Darrius O'erlund and Aidan Destronia.
Wield the astounding power of the mysterious Petra, and discover a plot to achieve the unthinkable. Team up with your allies in battle to form devastating combination attacks. Band together as a unit to win large-scale skirmishes.
Befriend the spirits of a past civilization in the form of Reza beasts, and use their mighty power to destroy those who stand in your way.
* Two combat systems.
* Three skill systems, allowing vast, personal customization of characters.
* Over a dozen mini-games.
* A cast spanning well over 90 characters, with over 15 playable party members including guest characters.
* Original character art by Sean Bungo!
* Completely original score by Robert Harrington!

CloseI added the download of a special re-release of the first demo of Evania, back when it was being developed on RPG Maker 2000. Please see the tab above concerning changes made during it's conversion to RPG Maker 2003.
PLEASE do not comment on it here, use the blog post for that, as this page is for the RPG Maker XP version of the game. I am only releasing this seven year-old demo due to requests. I did not spend a lot of time fixing problems, but I've tested it several times and found no game-breaking bugs or problems. Enjoy!

Yeah, I played the old rm2k version, where I think it started up in the woods. I remember thinking it was pretty good. Obviously, this looks a bit more... impressive :)

To answer, I can't really give a release date. I work on it when I have the time to, but I am dedicated to the project and will see it through to it's final release. On the flipside, I'm against releasing demos unless they're just technical ones to show how features work. So I wouldn't expect a release too soon.

To update, I've been working on a lot of different aspects at once lately (I usually focus on one thing at a time with development). It's all coming together now. I'm trying to think of ways to evolve the systems used so that they're not all borrowed from games we've all played before. Nothing wrong with borrowing for a home brew game, in my opinion, but I really want some things to be my own. =)

@WCouillard : I read the game title that contains "Bulan" that means Moon in Indonesia, and I think this game made by Indonesian people....As Indonesian I'm so proud of it... Nice screenie :thumbup:

The moon-style logo probably supports your theory tbh...
I am not Indonesian (I am Irish-American), but you are correct, I did use the word for it's meaning.
