Evania: The Bulan Conflict tells the story of two best friends as they journey to unravel the secrets of a past war...
Set in the region of Bulan, spanning three countries in the world of Dagan, their quest will be long and arduous. Accompanied by a legion of friends and pursued by an endless swath of enemies, the first of many stories will be told by the actions of Darrius O'erlund and Aidan Destronia.
Wield the astounding power of the mysterious Petra, and discover a plot to achieve the unthinkable. Team up with your allies in battle to form devastating combination attacks. Band together as a unit to win large-scale skirmishes.
Befriend the spirits of a past civilization in the form of Reza beasts, and use their mighty power to destroy those who stand in your way.

I still have the old Rm2k demo of this haha. I always liked the old demo and this doesn't look that bad so.. Good luck and hope to see more of this in the future. I hope your gonna edit that Suikoden II sprite though.
All current screenshots are developmental. Most things can (and probably will) change in the future.
Speaking of that old RM2k demo... which one do you have? There were two, the easy way to tell is whether or not the introduction has a cabin or a tent in the woods. Hopefully, it's a cabin, because the one with the tent had a lot of mistakes.
The one with the tent actually haha. In fact I'm using it's battle theme cause that was awesome and I could never find where it came from? Is he one with the cabin longer cause I would love to try that out.
Not to be a pain in the butt, but the music was all originally composed by my friend Robert Harrington. I'm pretty sure he's composing new stuff for the XP version of the game, but I'd still have to ask you to get his permission to use the old stuff. You can get him on AIM at the SN "silenttwn."
And to answer your question, the demo with the cabin was longer, had less bugs, rewritten dialogue, etc. It was... less embarrassing, ha ha.

eerr...I prefer the anime style for 2d rpg games. But I suppose the new look is somewhat good in a way. Also have you got any screens of the battlesystem. I'm hoping the battlesystem isn't front view but overall it looks good and custom.

Oh, brilliant! I've just found this page for the first time. It was pretty short, but I enjoyed the RM2K Evania demo quite a lot (though I'm pretty sure that I played the 'tent' version, haha). This is really quite interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops. =)
Lately I've been spending a lot of time working with the two musicians to create fitting pieces for the game's environments. I'll put together some samples and upload them soon.

Wow. I still have the old Rm2k demo, which was a pretty decent game, but this entry in the series looks like it's in a totally different league. Very promising... I'm definitely looking forward to playing it. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much. I am hoping to complete compiling of the tiles that will be used in a demo release soon. This way I can release some sort of playable trailer.
NOTE: I found all of the old versions of the game, from RPG Maker 2000. If anyone wants the longest, fixed version (no bugs, no TENT, lol), I'd be glad to send it along.

Why don't you upload the old version to RMN?
That way people interested in the game could just download it without having to ask you for it.

Releasing something so old and outdated to it's current version would only serve to hurt any publicity I hope to garner through RMN, sadly.
I wouldn't want anyone to think that a seven year-old demo was the product it is now, you know?
I'm working very hard day in and day out right now to create more of the game so I can add some new media and maybe a trailer download here. Hopefully I can have something new up here soon.
Truth be told, the meat of the work I'm doing right now is more writing and looking for some talent to create art, music, etc. so there's not much to offer in the way of newer screenshots or playable demos.
I wouldn't want anyone to think that a seven year-old demo was the product it is now, you know?
