So, you might have seen that I had posted an image of the world map recently, and you might have been confused and asked yourself: I thought this game was on hiatus? I thought kentona had sworn off game making altogether? Why am I opening this second bag of doritos? What am I doing with my life?

Existential questions aside, I feel like I owe it to myself to commit to finishing this joke of a game. I have written out the entire script, I have made great headway into the database side of things, and I have a decent framework for the gameplay planned out (probably decent, anyway). I was just unable to execute any ideas. And that was extremely disappointing.

To wash away some of that self-loathing I am going to attempt to finish this game under the same constraints (roughly) that the real contestants of the contest were under. I will endeavour to keep my time in the editor under 25 hours total (which works out to 2.5 hours per day which seemed doable to me at the time). So far I am up to 7.5hrs.

I have no ETA on this, though the longer it drags on, the less compelled I will feel to finish this. If this goes on past middle of June I will probably just cancel it outright.
