Box of Fruit

In this mini-game you try to collect fruit before it lands at the bottom of a giant cup. If the fruit reaches the bottom of the cup or comes in contact with the juice currently filling up the cup it will turn into juice itself and fill the cup up even more. Your goal is to catch as much fruit as possible before the cup completely fills up and its game over.

On the positive side of things this game does feature a simple piano piece that speeds up in time with an increase in the drop speed of the fruit. This allows for the song to feel more and more intense as the game goes on. I also admit that I find the emoticon clouds in the background rather amusing.

On the negative side of things the game features a rather frustrating design flaw in my opinion. If you have the box just above the juice and miss a fruit the game doesn't automatically push your box up to the next level inside of the cup. This means the player needs to manually shift themselves up to the next level in order to catch the next fruit, but at higher levels the fruit will be falling so fast you won't have time to both readjust your level position in the cup and catch the falling fruit in my experience. This usually means a single screw-up in this game can lead to the player missing the next piece of fruit or more before they are in a position to start catching fruit again.

Omnomnom

Omnomnom is a cheap knock off of Pacman. The game is far less intense in terms of speed and the levels aren't as fun to play on in my experience. You'll usually lose this game when you move your character into a hallway that ends in a dead-end and usually you won't be aware that your cornering yourself until its to late since you don't have a complete view of the entire field. To make matters worse some of the "power-ups" negatively effect the player and make it easier for the "Herzies" to catch you.

Although the game does have a mixed blessing in the fact that the AI is rather weak. The "Herzies" will always try to move in the direction of the player and if they are unable to they will simply move back and forth between points on the map. This means a smart player can easily maneuver a "Herzie" into a dead-end hallway and leave them there. Another issue with the AI is that it's much slower than the player. Unfortunately the weaknesses of the AI are rather miniscule in my opinion if the player is unable to see when they are maneuvering themselves into a trap.

OMG-Bomber

OMG-Bomber is a rather simple game and is comparable to hot potato. The goal of the game is not to be caught with the bomb when the timer runs out. If you are it's game over. Though, strangely enough the game doesn't tell you that you fail as soon as you get eliminated. This means you can either sit and watch the game unfold until there is only one AI left or you can simply press the x key on your keyboard and select to restart the mini-game or exit out of the mini-game completely.

I'm not sure this game has any strengths or weakness that aren't intrinsically connected. The best example of this issue is the bomb itself which utilizes a random timer. On the plus side this means the player is unable to simply hold onto the bomb and pass it to another player at the last second. Conversely the random nature of the timer means it may blow up before the first person to receive the bomb can pass it or soon as it is passed for the first time.

Elimination

In this game you play as a soldier and fire a cannon into a field filled with your allies and enemies, but to make things interesting you are unable to see your allies or enemies unless they are right next to you. This means an important aspect of this game is to place yourself strategically on the field supposedly, but I don't think it really matters. As long as you can read the charts the game gives you about the rough location of an ally or enemy from your last missed shot you'll easily be able to beat this game.

Tablegame

Tablegame is a simple board game where your goal is to reach the end of the board before your opponents. Though, the board isn't all that interesting in my opinion. You can either land on red squares which have negative effects like sending you back two squares or making you skip your next turn or you can land on yellow squares which give you positive effects like moving additional spaces or freezing an enemy. Though the game also takes a page out of troubles playbook and you'll be unable to finish the game unless your dice roll matches up with how many squares you need to advance in order to win.

Though like several other board games your ability to come out on top seems to boil down more to luck rather than skill. A fact that really bugs me since I prefer board games that require either a combination of the two or are entirely dependent on the skill such as chess.

Rock, Paper, Scissors

I'll just skip over a description of how this mini-game works and cut straight to the chase since I imagine most people are familiar with the this game. Rock, Paper, Scissors is probably the worst of the mini-games in the collection in my opinion. The game doesn't allow you to simply pick what your choice is but instead makes you wait until an invisible timer runs out. This makes the game a rather boring chore where you'll spend most of your time waiting rather then playing.
