Update #2: Your impression of M&L Paper Jam?

What do you guys think about the new Mario & Luigi/Paper Mario game revealed earlier today?
I like Mario & Luigi RPGs. I like Paper Mario RPGs. No ounce of me wants to see them mashed together. This seems like this is really an M&L RPG with Paper Mario stapled on (ha!).
But in all seriousness, the upsetting thing is that this means that any hopes of a "real" Paper Mario RPG game has just been pushed back a few more years, and into another console/generation. Oh well, I guess. It's better than nothing.
This is probably going to turn out to being a great game, but I can't say I'm happy about the concept.
Anyways, to make this update not worthless, here are new screens showing Toadiko. A proper reveal of the first ever Toad partner is coming soon.

To be honest, I'm GLAD it's Paper Mario in Mario & Luigi and not the other way around. At least we'll have a good RPG, and not a probable disappointment like Sticker Star.
Also, I don't see this too farfetched: Mario & Luigi is known for having a new gameplay gimmick in every game (excluding the first because it was the first), so this time they just took Paper Mario as their gimmick. I'm 100% okay with that.

Well, I was happy about the inclusion of Paper Mario in a Mario & Luigi game. Love both series.

True, they usually have a gimmick. I'm beginning to wonder if Sticker Star and Dream Team were made on the same console so that they could eventually crosss them over like this.

Well it was obvious that Dream Team would be in a handheld (Mario & Luigi is a handheld series), but Sticker Star got us offguard. I think it was put in the 3DS because of its 3D (so the game would look like a real paper diorama).
The reson why they fusioned this time? I think they just found it funny to use Paper Mario as the gimmick this time. :)
