Like Legionwood? Check out the sequel! http://rpgmaker.net/games/3811/

In production since 2007, Legionwood: Tale of the Two Swords is an epic length traditional role playing game created in RPG Maker VX which was completed in late 2010.

Featuring accessible, familiar gameplay reminscent of the early Final Fantasy titles, Legionwood offers you a 20+ hour long quest set in a massive fantasy world filled with challenging enemies, involving quests and tons of character customisation options with the in depth AP Character System.

The world has been at peace since the Great War ended 1000 years ago. Now, an ancient antagonist is ready to set in motion a plan that has been in the making for centuries. Take control of Lann Northshire, an ordinary peasant who is unwillingly thrown into a conflict that will soon engulf the entire world. The fate of Legionwood hangs in the balance. Will you be able to restore peace to the land? With a thrilling story of love, revenge, war and peace, Legionwood is an adventure that you won't want to pass up!

Featured Game!

A short, sweet update: for those who don't know, Legionwood is RMN's featured game this month. I didn't know it was coming, and was pleasantly surprised when I logged in today and saw it on the home page. So uh, kudos to me, I guess?

Anyway, I just want to thank everyone who has played and supported the game (especially those people who provided useful feedback) over the course of its development and the couple of years afterward. Your comments and suggestions have shaped the game and helped me make it into what it is today. Keep on playing and remember to drop a line if you have any thoughts, because an update is never out of the question. I worked on this game for nearly 3 whole years and it was a huge part of my day to day life once. For giving me the chance to see it succeed, I owe you one :)

So celebrate this occasion by giving it a download and playing it through, if you like. Thank you once again, and keep an eye on Legionwood 2, which I am slowly but surely plugging away at. There is plenty more old school RPGing to come!

Your welcome.

And here's how to fix that other problem.

Go into the BGM folder and first copy, then rename the file "jbmsc024" to "Crysta"
When I make it to the mythril mines I get the

Unable to find Audio/BGM/06a-Battle_Field

message. Do you know where I can find it?
Will my save from version2.3 work for version 3?

So I was planning on playing through this and reviewing it, I made it to the sewers before I called it quits. But I have to ask you, do you need to use 60 lines of dialogue every time a character speaks? Honestly, the Ogre boss is a great example, they just rambled on and on. Every single random NPC tends to do this, but the time I gave up I was pressing F12 every time I accidently talked with a generic NPC. Honestly, why did you make it pause every time a period was placed? I'm sorry to say Gaia, but this seems to be your most generic piece of crap game you've made yet. And your horror series was pretty far up there before I tried this.
Downloaded the new version (3.21). Is there something I'm missing? The enemies seem to be brutal no matter where I go. I did try Gaia's cave but one round of attacks from bats all targeting one character = game over. Where should I level?
Yeah, I changed that around now. Gaia's Cave is no longer your first stop. Instead, just stock up on equipment, buy some spells, go into Character and buy some AP, then just head to Selatan Plains.
To spend AP, open the menu, go into Character, and hit A. Spend it on Attack/Intellect and Defense to start.
Also, it might help to know you can save by sleeping in the bed in your house.
So after seeing this game all over the place since forever, I've decided to try it. We'll see how this goes...

I actually liked this game quite well without all the different edits and what not. It was a fun little romp with a great battle system - sure the battles were a liiiiiitle bit long, but you needed to use a bit of strategy to beat them. They'd have been better if there were fewer, but the rewards were higher, so that it balanced out a bit more, but I liked it just fine the way it was.

Guess I'll check out the newer version anyway. XP
Annnnnnd the error carnival starts right at the title screen!

"Unable to find Graphics/Characters/$Veiculo(10)"

What? I was sure I fixed that! How can this be?
Nobody else reported this at all. There are people all over the place who've already beaten the dang thing.
Yeah I just tested it myself and that error doesn't happen. Your download must have corrupted or something try it again. If not, I'll upload the file myself.

Worked fine for me. Did you install the font - that's the only thing I can think that may be wrong... unless your download corrupted.
