I'm very happy with how the CBS has turned out. Since I'm using DQ sprites and music, I wanted the battle system to fit the theme! Script custom made for me by Lecode.

Those are a fine example of GMO carrots gone wrong. Looks really nice though I love the lil dude with the hammer!

That carrot screams wrong on so many levels. He has a habit of doing Lure dance, and trying to distract party members for one turn. There's a battle in the Casino where the poor Carrot is the under dog. Ran it over 20 times and he was the only monster out of the four in that fight who never won once. (The casino monster betting is where you bet on a monster and they fight each other until only one is standing.)

Having a black background just like the NES games isn't that good of an idea. Just take the SNES Dragon Quest games for example: DQ 1 & 2 remake, DQ 3 remake, and DQ 5 & 6. They all used a proper background & looked better than the NES games.
