Moving extended version to Ace

I just want to let everyone know that, because of the annoying glitch that keeps happening in RPG Maker 2003, that I am moving the extended version of this game to RPG Maker VX Ace.

There was a glitch in RPG Maker 2003's editor, where if I saved on a incomplete map during test play, then added events to the map, it didn't add the events during test play unless I left the map first. Not sure if it is just a problem with the steam version, or not. I only have the steam version of RPG Maker 2003.

You can make changes to maps while doing a test-run? No, wait, what probably happened is that you noticed something off, saved, quit test-play, modified the map, fired up test-play again, loaded the game, left said map, came back, and the map corrected itself. Or something like that?

Regardless of the case, I fail to see how such would be a glitch in regards to the end-user (aka: a player of your game), given that the end-user is (presumably) not going to make changes to your game.
Yes, that's what happened, but sometimes I forget to make it so you could leave the map. The problem is when I test play a map that is not done, then save and quit on the map, then add new events, then test play again it doesn't add the new events during test play unless I leave the map then come back. I really cannot fix this problem.

I'm still confused as to why you think it's necessary to switch engines because of this "bug". Like, even if it's annoying for you while you're making the game, and I'm not doubting that it is, it should still not affect the end result (ie: when the game is done)?
