I don't know. I liked his ridiculous hair. It meshed well with the art style and was distinctive. This hair leans more towards a generic protagonist.

The old manga style will still be used in-game, as it tends to mesh a lot better with Rm2k3. A lot of the newer portraits are for fun/promoting the project. xD
